This snake camera is a fantastic value and a must-have for home maintenance. I needed something to inspect some tricky plumbing and wall cavities, and the device did the job perfectly and stood up to the test. The IP67 waterproof rating meant I didn't have to worry about snaking it down a damp pipe, and the adjustable LED lights cut right through the dark. The 1920x1440 HD video quality is excellent for a camera this size. It connected to my phone flawlessly, and the app is very simple to navigate for real-time viewing. The 16.4-foot cable gives you plenty of reach to inspect deep into air ducts or behind drywall. It is a great, reliable tool to keep in the house!

For the money paid for this device, for how easy it is to use, this is a pretty good device. I can see this being useful for checking out hard to reach/see issues for automobiles, as a bore scope, use cases where the issue you are looking for is small and in a confined area. I purchased to send through duct work, inside interior wall channels and it was not so easy for me to get it to do what I wanted and see the entire area. I'm keeping it because I've always wanted one of these and it should do fine for what I've described. Definitely will use it to look inside automobile engine, cylinders/pistons during spark plug changes and for looking at the bore of my milsurp firearms. Hope it lasts! Oh, I have an Android phone. APP installed easily and functioned immediately.

I picked this up to check some hard to reach spots around the house and behind the engine in my car, and it has worked out well. The cable is the nice kind of stiff where it holds its shape when you bend it but still coils up easily for storage. Setup was quick. I plugged it into my phone, downloaded the app, and it was showing a live picture within a couple of minutes. The dual lens is handy for looking around corners, and the LED lights are bright enough that I could actually see what I was doing in dark areas. Image quality is good for the price. My iPhone showed a nice clear picture. The little magnet, hook, and mirror attachments are a nice touch and I have already used the mirror once. For what I paid this has been a solid little tool. Would buy again.

Once you've downloaded the app, it's plug and play. Cable could be stiffer, it's too soft to really give the maneuverability I was looking for. The light is not bright enough to illuminate more than a couple inches at a time, which is fine inside a very small space, but looking at a wider field, such as the space under the intake plenum, really not very helpful. The image quality is usable but I wouldn't say it matches even this price point considering the tech that's available out there. For $30, it's fine, but not great.
