Recovery Mask

I've been using this for more than a decade. People always ask for my haircare routine/products. This is among the mix. I also use Moroccan oil for the ends.

Love it. My hair has never been so soft

Kerasilk's mask is designed to repair and moisturize damaged hair and reduce breakage. However, if you read closely you'll see that while it reduces breakage by up to 97%, that's not when compared to other masks - it's when compared to using nothing. It's like the cereal commercial where they're like, "Kids who eat Mini Wheats do better in school than other kids! *Compared to kids who ate no breakfast!!" After using the mask, my hair doesn't feel softer or more hydrated, though I did happen to note that there were zero broken strands of hair that I noticed in my comb. But I don't like how my hair feels. It doesn't feel moisturized or hydrated after using. To be fair, I have type 4 hair and tend to use heavy moisturizers and conditioners. This is much lighter than my typical mask, but it does what it's supposed to do.

My stylist told me to buy this for my split ends since I get my hair colored and this makes my hair so soft and doesn’t make my curls weird

This product really helped my hair!

I'll start off by saying that I really like the geometric shaped bottle & lid. There is a satisfying click that lets you know when you've screwed the top on completely. The product itself is surprisingly thin as most hair masks are thicker. The scent is on the perfumey side but did not bother me. I was not overly impressed by the results. My hair felt weird after, kind of like it dried out. Results will probably vary by hair type but I can only muster 3 stars for this as my hair did not feel as phenomenal as the advertisement would have you believe.

Kerasilk Recovery Mask, 200ml Beautiful periwinkle plastic packaging, with a turning screw lid and white plastic intermediate closure (like night cream). There is a satisfying close, sealing out moisture light etc. It’s an intensive deep repairing mask and after 1 use, my chemically treated hair feels softer and repaired. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 von 5 Sternen – Sehr gut! Ich bin absolut begeistert von der Kerasilk Haarmaske. Schon nach der ersten Anwendung fühlt sich das Haar deutlich griffiger, geschmeidiger und gepflegt an, ohne beschwert zu werden. Die Maske verleiht dem Haar ein gesundes Gefühl und eine tolle Struktur. Besonders positiv finde ich die hochwertigen Inhaltsstoffe – man merkt einfach, dass es sich um ein professionelles Produkt handelt. Zudem ist die Haarmaske nicht an Tieren getestet, was für mich ein sehr wichtiges Kaufkriterium ist. Insgesamt eine rundum überzeugende Pflege, die hält, was sie verspricht. Ich werde sie definitiv wieder kaufen und kann sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Why did you choose this product over others?: This is amazing my hair felt so silky I have hair extensions and I have used different masks but this was recommended by my hair dresser I will always use this now it’s pricey but it will last ages as it is a big bottle
