soundcore by Anker Motion x600 Speaker, Hi-Res Spatial Audio, 50W

Anker never disappoints! They really do know how to make excellent products that punch above their weight for price. This is probably one of the sleakest looking Bluetooth speakers you'd be happy to have on a shelf in your living room but waterproof so you can take to the beach or the pool. The sound is crystal clear which is why I chose it over more bass heavy speakers like JBL. The handle makes it so easy to carry. I like their app soundcore always gives you lots of audio options to tweak the sound to your liking. When I say it's not as bass heavy as JBL speakers I'm not trying to say it sound lacking. You wouldn't notice unless you had both speakers side by side. But JBL speakers have more distortion at high volume than the x600. ****UPDATE**** I have found that I have a minor issue with my X600 unit. Sometimes after turning it on and pairing, the volume is stuck at a low level and nothing changes it, turning it off and on again seems to fix it. I will be buying a second one as a Christmas gift and will find out if they have any problems as well.

The best until now

Build quality is excellent. Sound quality great especially when paired with an additional units, which was effortless. Great price with the Prime sale, I got 2 for less than my Bose Soundlink Max which was also on sale. The Bose has more base for a single unit and has a better IP rating but for around the house and garden these are perfect, I was so impressed I bought 4 in total!

Sounds Bassy and Crisp. The 4 stars is only for slow charging speeds (less than 20w).

quality product it is!

Was looking for a great home speaker, red lots of reviews and selected this one. And that was the right choice! No doubts, it has super great sound filling whole room with pleasant music. Bass is great compared to others, buttons brightness can be turned off in app, works while charging. Keep enjoying it every day and highly recommend!!

Perfect for a picnic or home use. I use it in a master bedroom , music / movies sounds clear and no distortion. Highly highly recommended. It's not portable enough to carry for a trip overseas.

I purchased this based on the reviews, but as mentioned in the review, it is not worth the price. It is just a regular B-Speaker with a different shape, and the output is quite standard.

Reason for purchase - I bought this because I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker I can move from room to room & the garden. It’s probably not more portable than that for most people due to it being very slightly too heavy perhaps, but most pertinently because it is so beautiful & you wouldn’t want to scratch it. No dust resistance a factor too. I have a silicone case coming for added protection. Design/ looks - absolutely beautiful. I bought the blue, but have heard the green really pops if that’s your thing. It reminds me very much of Bang & Olufsen in terms of looks & sound. Aluminium, feels great, buttons really satisfying to press. Sound - it sounds great, plenty loud enough to fill any room. For optimum.performance I/ we will need to use the app equaliser settings & probably have 2 different settings depending on the type of music. I find the preset treble boost with bass on as the best preset option, much better than the signature. For example, Eva Cassidy’s Fields of Gold & Enigma’s Sadeness album are simply incredible on treble boost. You will hear things you’ve not heard before… & I have the unparalleled Sony XM4 headphones… but then on some of my dance music such as Stonebridge’s Put Em High, Paul van Dyk’s For An Angel etc the bass is too heavy. Just taking the bass boost off makes it more than good enough, but can’t help feel it’s just lacking something then… a smarter person than me would have already found the perfect setting in between, but part of the fun will be tweaking the settings to find the right one 😉😂. Listening now as I write & just taking the bass boost off really is good in itself. I wouldn’t pay £200, but got it for £120 & happy with that. There are probably better sounding options out there if you are an absolute audiophile & there are absolutely more rugged options. But if you want something that sounds great & I have to say looks even better, this is a fabulous option.

it is heavy, of good quality, somewhat premium feelings. It doesn't mean it has no plastic materials. i appreciate it comes with 3.5mm audio jack, i can use my own DAC. the built in DAC is at least on par with CX31993 but definitely not better than CS43131.

In its price range, and quite far above it, this has to be the best sounding BT speaker. Sure, there are speakers that will hit you with more bass, but not better bass. It is natural and well defined and does not overpower the rest of the frequency range. Mids and highs are also well balanced with a natural timbre and in no way 'in your face'. I have Spatial Audio and Bass Up enabled all the time and use the Soundcore app's EQ for fine-tuning. LDAC support is another feature contributing to sound quality. Build quality is very good. The aluminum grille and handle, combined with a solid weight, add to the premium feel. Portability is good enough for indoor and restrained garden use. I would not drag it of to the beach, despite the IPX7 rating. As you can see, I really don't have anything negative to say about this speaker. Just get one if it's a BT speaker you want and if good sound is a priority.

Really like this speaker overall. Sounds really good, has great bass, spatial audio is really impressive. Only thing I wish it had was skip and replay track functions so I could go back or forward thru tracks, otherwise it's nearly flawless. Definitely recommend
