I bought this for my culinary class, and I can definitely see myself using it for years. this tool is so useful!! and really compact, it fits perfectly into the breast pocket of my chef's coat, as well as my pants. Plus you can cut on top of it and it won't scratch easily (if you are gentle), but just beware of whether cutting on the grid will dull your knife or not. I use shun/henckels knives, and found that out the hard way!

I bought this when I started culinary school 2 years ago to help practice my knife cuts. I graduate this spring and this little card still holds up great. Barely any wear on the writing even though it has seen extensive use.

Saw that a fellow classmate in the culinary dept at my school had one of these. I asked her where she got it and found it after a little searching. I opted for the smaller one. It fits in my knife kit just right. I love it for practicing my knife cuts. It has helped tremendously to give me a frame of reference when I am attempting to perfect my cuts. It is sturdy not flimsy, the text on it is clear and apparently doesn't wash or rub off. The informational text is helpful too. I would definitely recommend this to any student in the culinary arts field who is serious about improving their knife cuts.

If you are in culinary school do yourself a favor & buy this. It makes practicing at home so much more productive. You need to master your cuts and this will help. It is metal, and quite weighty. I carry it in my pants pocket, as it is heavy & falls out of my breast pocket in school.

My first one was bent pretty severely due to Amazon packaging. But the second one was great. A little sharp on the edges but perfect for school and seems good quality.

This product has really helped me get better with my cuts, they are more precise and uniform.

I go to Culinary school where we received a pocketbook with measurements on it. I ended up losing it and bought this to replace it and I couldn’t be happier! It’s a little heavy in your breast pocket, but it’s nice for making sure that your cuts are the appropriate size.

Good product for those who know how to use

This reminds of the ruler with different sizes of circles, triangles and squares used in elementary schools in Spore ! Very firm steel - not flimsy - the edges will not cause you to donate blood - safe - great quality !

A handy tool, came as expected and advertised

Essa régua é muito interessante para ajudar a manter os cortes com padrão. Mas, pessoalmente, é menor do que parece, o que é bom pois se torna fácil de acomodar em qualquer estojo. Por outro lado suas medidas são no sistema de polegadas, o que não ajuda a quem usa o sistema métrico. Existe outra régua, versão espanhola da mesma marca, que traz o sistema métrico, porém o preço aqui é proibitivo, por algo tão simples.
