These looked great in the photos and I'm happy to say they do not dissapoint when you recieve them. These sheel replacements look and feel great. A fun way to make your steam deck stand out. The plastic feels high quality and the colouring (I order the Chameleon Purple/Blue) looks outstanding. It's not simply two tones, but actually has a pearlescent quality where the colours appear to shift from Blue to Purple depending on the angle of the light. Includes several useful tools for making the replacement which is helpful. I would reccomend using plastic guitar pick rather than the metal one include. The metal one should work fine but a plastic one is a bit safer. Everything you need to complete the shell replacement is included in the box. 5.5/5

Everything is super, the case is excellent, you just need to be careful when removing the screen and use a plastic pick!

So this is the second shell swap on a Steam Deck that I’ve done; it was way easier/less nerve-wracking this time. For this build I used gold buttons (the white stock ones it comes with are really nice though and I used a couple pieces of the white). Used white caps for the joysticks and I used high temp flat white spray paint for the metal plates that go behind the grills & the back plate screws. In my opinion the black doesn’t look great, and if you’re going for an all-white deck, it’s a definite game changer and beautiful upgrade. Definitely recommend eXtremeRate products, I’ve used them for all of my Xbox & Steam Deck shell swaps and they have never disappointed. Great fit, user friendly & beautiful product overall.

La qualité rien a dire, la pose doit être fait avec minutie, surtout pour l'écran, j'ai pas osé décoller l'écran de peur de le casser, pour les super bricoleur, pour un novice, je ne le conseil pas, je suis pourtant quelqu'un qui fait beaucoup de montage démontage mais là c'est minutieux et la garantie saute en même temps...
