VTech Chomp and Count Dino, Green

Baby loved his Dino. Fun to play with and so light he carries it with him everywhere and cannot get enough of it!!! The V tech quality was superb and all the colors perfect to keep baby’s attention. Fun and a learning toy as well.

This green dino isn't just a cute face; it actually teaches the little guy numbers and food groups while making chomping sounds that send him into fits of giggles. It's a win-win! The dino's durable, which is crucial considering the abuse it endures daily, and the bright colors keep him engaged. Honestly, if you're looking for a gift that will keep a toddler happy and maybe, just maybe, teach them something along the way, look no further. Just be prepared for a lot of roaring!

We got the VTech Chomp and Count Dino for our toddler and it has been such a fun learning toy. He loves “feeding” the dinosaur the colorful food pieces and hearing the funny reactions. The toy recognizes each piece and talks about colors, shapes, foods, and numbers, so there’s a lot of language and learning built into playtime. It makes learning feel like a game, which is exactly what we wanted. The buttons, songs, and bright design keep his attention, and there are so many interactive features that he keeps discovering new things. The volume control is a big plus (especially for parents!), and the sound quality is clear. It’s sturdy, well-made, and holds up to daily play. We also like that it encourages fine motor skills and matching as he figures out which piece goes where. Overall, this is a wonderful toy for ages 1–3 and a great gift idea for birthdays or holidays. It’s colorful, educational, and fun to push or pull around the room. Our little one reaches for it every day, and it definitely keeps him entertained while he’s learning. Has a lot of features, and seems to be of good quality. But there is a design feature flaw- the mouth on the dinosaur is very low, it is hard for the child to see the coin/food being inserted in the dinosaur’s mouth and going down the mouth. It would be better if the head was raised up a bit so that mouth is visible to children and they can see the coin going into mouth. Otherwise- ease of use, size, portability, etc are great.

This dinosaur is so cute and fun. My 2 year old loves it. You feed him the 10 treats. In one mode, he counts, in another he tells you what food you gave him. He asks questions in both modes, having kids put in a specific treat, or a specific number of treats. He also sings. Beyond that, he has wheels and a string for pull along fun. The string is very short, just long enough for a little one to pull it. We love this dino! He’s super durable and super sweet. Love that his food stores right in his tummy! Highly recommend!

Could not recommend this toy more! It’s the perfect mix of fun and learning. My kid loves putting the coins in the dinosaur’s mouth and watching him “eat” them, and the different songs and sounds keep him entertained for hours. The buttons on the body teach numbers, shapes, and colors, and the coins come out the bottom so it’s easy to reset and play again. It’s sturdy, easy to clean, and the pull-along design makes it great for little walkers. 10/10, a must-have for toddlers!

My little two year old granddaughter has three older brothers, so she is learning how to count early. This adorable green count and chomp dinosaur is so much fun to watch her play with. She giggles at it and kisses it. So cute. The size is perfect for her and it is very durable and solidly built. She can carry it around in the house so the mobility is great for her. I am very pleased with this VTech counting toy. Very educational, as well.
