Older version of FTIR, good description of the fundamentals of FTIR. Is in good condition and helpful to the beginner. Nice pictures and explanations.

Mi ricordavo questo libro come uno dei riferimenti per ogni chimico spettroscopia, così ho comprato la versione Kindle per portarlo sempre con me e mi sono trovata davanti una brutta sorpresa. Questo libro è impaginato male, ha pochi esempi e soprattutto.... NON parla di Raman. La teoria della spettroscopia Raman è molto bella, ma servono delle tavole di correlazione tra Raman e IR, con indicazione dell'intensità dell'assorbimento. Il libro è tutto sulla spettroscopia IR e se è vero che la lunghezza d'onda non cambia, almeno un'indicazione sull'assorbimento me l'aspettavo. invece niente, pazienza! Ho fatto il reso e per fortuna Amazon è efficiente, come al solito.
