I love him but....
Who doesn't love Chopper? In one of the final episodes of Rebels we see a maniacal Chopper jumping into some kind of tunnel digging earth works machine with spiky spinning rollers mowing down storm troopers to save his friends. Go Chop! After that I simply had to own him for myself. This one is great, he waggles his arms and shuffles about. I wish his head would spin around in a full 360 degrees like the "real" Chopper and a slightly higher quality speaker for his "voice" would be nice. I also wish I could leave him switched on so I could talk to him from time to time without having to press a button. Finally I would prefer him to be USB rechargeable rather than consuming normal batteries - both from a practicality point of view and an environmental one. All in all though I don't regret my purchase but that is more because of how much I love Chopper than the quality of the product which is adequate but not exceptional.

Sounds and arm movement accurate.
It is a cool toy version of the Rebel droid. Its upset arm movements are very accurate. The only issue is that I wish this Chopper would be able to move forward and backwards with a remote control option.

Der animatronische Chopper ist ein echtes Highlight für Fans. Mit über 40 verschiedenen Sound- und Bewegungskombinationen bringt er den beliebten Droiden verblüffend lebensecht ins Wohnzimmer. Er fuchtelt mit den Armen, dreht seinen Kopf und bewegt seinen Körper – fast so, als würde er wirklich leben. Die Motoren sind angenehm leise, und der Lautsprecher liefert einen klaren, authentischen Sound. Als Spielzeug für kleinere Kinder ist Chopper aufgrund seiner Mechanik eher ungeeignet, doch als Deko- oder Sammlerstück ist er absolut empfehlenswert. Ein kleiner Hinweis: Beim Aufstellen sollte man darauf achten, dass Chopper genug Platz hat, da er sich durch die Bewegungen leicht vorarbeitet und sonst abstürzen könnte. Zwar ist der Preis für die Größe nicht ganz niedrig, doch die hochwertige Verarbeitung und der Unterhaltungswert machen ihn definitiv zu einem lohnenden Kauf. Ich bin sehr zufrieden – jedes Mal, wenn er loslegt, freue ich mich.
