What a fantastic product, it’s sturdy, it has a consistent tamper, fits well in both my Gaggia classic portafilter and my KofiKofi bottomless portafilter.

Nice quality, works great, looks great.

These look great. They feel solid in your hand, and they click at the right pressure. But there is just enough play in the barrel for the leveler that you can still get an uneven tamp and the channeling that comes with it. So you still have to be careful and trust your own alignment. I wonder if they built the leveler barrel to tighter tolerances if it might bind. So that might be the issue but I still use it because the pressure seems right. Just be careful to be aligned and don't rely on the tamper to self level.

There are a lot of options for these out there, but I have other tools from this brand and they are all high quality. Glad I bought it.

A no-brainer upgrade. Takes doubts out of tamping consistency and level, snap at the end of the tamp is great feedback. I purchased 45.5mm for my Flair Pro, even though it came with a decent tamper of its own, and am very happy. Can’t comment on the ultimate effect on my shots, but peace of mind by taking care of a potential point of failure is worth it.

I could tell just by feel that the pressure was way off. There's no adjustment available and I checked it on my scale and the most I got was 20lb. Great idea if it worked. I think everyone reviewing this just assumes what the company says is true without actually testing.
