I really wanted these to work. I use them at the cabin (Northern MN) where it can get down to -30F, and I placed one logger in the cabin and one logger in the outbuilding to see exactly how cold it got INSIDE the buildings. I used this once the year before and it worked. However, the two I bought this year - I activated both of them following the instructions, and visually confirmed the LED flashed after I activated each. However, when I returned in the spring and plugged them into my PC and downloaded the PDF from each ... BOTH loggers recorded ZERO data points. (Not zero degrees... zero DATA points). In other words, neither logger worked. Bottom line- these were a bust, complete waste of money and I shan't purchase these friggin' Frigga loggers again.

I purchased the data logger in October 2025. I wanted to use it to log the interior temperature of our cabin while it was closed up for the winter. On November 11, 2025 I activated the unit according to the instructions. I waited an hour to make sure it was working after the 30 minute delay. It appeared to be recording. I closed up the cabin, and on April 30, 2026 I retrieved the unit. I pressed the stop button for 5 seconds per the instruction. When I plugged the unit into my laptop, expecting a mountain of data, there was NOTHING! There should have been at least 21,600 temperature points. What a disappointment!

Didn’t work, I wanted to know the temperature in a crawl space over the winter, turned it on as instructions say, blue led started to flash as it should. Returned after winter and installed in usb to view the temperatures highs and lows, and it read nothing but turn on date.

This is a great device that is so easy to use! You activate it by pressing the start button and placing on the items being shipped or monitored (there is a piece of double sided tape that can be used to attach to something). Then when the monitoring time is over you remove it from the shipment (it is recommended to leave it in the plastic bag it is shipped in during monitoring) and plug it into your USB drive. There will be files on the drive including the a certification file (see image that shows part of it), and a CSV file for the raw data and a PDF with a ready made report including stats and a graph. It is a one time only throw away device. Highly recommended.
