I bought this after purchasing Hungback Peel and Stick TPE Chair rail. I tried using scissors to cut the TPE, and it was messy. These shears give perfect angles, and cut through it like butter. I was able to create 90° corners on the squares I put on my wall. You can use them by yourself, no need for assistance. The TPE I bought was about 1/2 inch at its thickest. Great tool!!

I was leery of these because I never heard of the brand but figured I would chance it because they were returnable. I do cabinetry and have had these exactly 1 year now and use them every single day all day and they have been amazing. Clean sharp accurate cuts with zero tear out. For shoe molding they cut your time in half over getting up and down and walking to the saw not to mention no mess because there is no dust.

Cuts easily but the base plate is not flat making is hard to get a square cut. The rear fence is flat but the base has a large hump in it making the item being cut wobble and not sit flat. I was able to het the condone but I wasn’t 100% happy with the results.

OMG This tool really does what it says it will do. I have a bakers rack, some of my pans are too wide to slide onto a shelf. I went out picked up some 1 x 1/4 inch boards, got home to find they were to long and I had just got this great tool that afternoon. So lets put it to the test, WHOA!!! It cut each board perfectly and now my pans just slide right in on the boards. I am so happy with this handy tool, can't wait til I start crafting, it's going to really be the star of the day.

This may be fine for crafters working with tiny balsa wood pieces or whatever, but this is not for a professional carpenter who is looking for a precision result. Honestly, I cannot understand how this design could ever produce a true cut. There is a huge ridge on the cutting bed where the blade strikes it (like 1/8" high) so your workpiece is like a teetertotter and rocks up and down. The end result is a compound bevel cut. It may be 45 degrees in the x-y plane, but it is not 90 degrees in the z plane. The bed where your workpiece rests needs to be flat and perfectly perpendicular to the blade. This is NOT that. If you are a woodworking enthusiast or someone who earns a living as a carpenter, you understand what I just wrote. If caulk is your best friend in your molding projects, then you might be happy. If you are using stained molding where errors cannot be covered with caulk and you want tight joints, find something else. It is also impossible to trim small cuts off the end. I will often overcut my molding by 1/8' or so and then trim the piece to the exact fit. These shears will never do that as the blade deflects as you make the cut. I was also a little disappointed that there was no bag for the various cutting heads and extra blade that came with the tool, but it's a moot point as I am returning the item. Wanted to love it guys but I need much more accuracy than these could ever hope to deliver.

The cutter is well built and works very well. For small wood trim pieces, I believe this tool will save significant time and do a superior job. The storage box, such as it is, could be more durable; we will modify or replace it. The instructions and documentation supplied are minimal, and there was no reference to replacement blades, but we found them here on Amazon and will order a set to have on hand.

Not a fan! I bought hard foam molding for picture frames and thought these would be super usefull. They broke more trim that they cut. Not clean at all. I then tried them standard trim material with the same result. The trim also didn't stay againt the guide so the cuts were never at the correct angle. Super diassapointed

Good quality and produce excellent mitres for framing.

De schaar zelf is superscherp. Ik heb deze gekocht om hardhouten plinten kwartrond 2.5 cm door te knippen. Het maranti materiaal was te doen maar ging zeker niet makkelijk. Er was ondanks het ratel systeem toch eel behoorlijk wat kracht voor nodig. Dit was dan ook wel uitzonderlijk hard en dik hout. Het lukte uiteindelijk wel maar ik had de volgende dag wel spierpijn. Voor normale plint is deze schaar perfekt. Hij knipt er doirheen als was het boter. Mooie scherpe verstek sneden. Blij dat ik hem heb!

Cesoie molto pratiche e robuste. Nel mio caso si sono rivelate estremamente utili per il taglio delle canaline elettriche in PVC. Il meccanismo a cricchetto facilita molto il lavoro e permette tagli precisi anche con angolazioni non dritte, come 45° o altre gradazioni. Le incudini intercambiabili sono un valore aggiunto e rendono la forbice versatile per diversi tipi di taglio. Le consiglio vivamente a chi lavora nel settore elettrico o ha bisogno di tagli puliti e angolati sul PVC.
