Denso IGN WIRE SET-5MM - 671-6182

I installed this Denso 5mm ignition wire set on my aging 2002 Toyota Tacoma after the old plug wires started arcing and causing misfires. These replacement wires fit perfectly and solved the problem immediately. After installation, the engine runs smoothly again and the misfires are completely gone. The quality seems very good, and the fitment was exactly what I expected from Denso. They were also reasonably priced compared to some other options, making this a great value repair for an older truck. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend them for anyone dealing with ignition issues on a Tacoma.

This set replaced perfectly the original equipment wires on my 1996 4Runner (I had purchased the last set from Toyota about 7 years ago). These wires are the same quality but less than half the price. The spiral insulating wrap is not present on these but it's easy enough to swap from the original wires. The number 3 wire on my OE set had two extra rubber insulators that were not present on this set, but they are probably not necessary. These wires are not numbered (as the OE set are) but the lengths are correct so it's easy enough to match them up to the correct coils and spark plugs. Incidentally, the numbers on the OE wires correspond to the coils on the passenger side, not the cylinders on the driver's side. The wire set includes installation instructions and a packet of silicone grease to lubricate the spark plug boots so be sure to use it. Just remove and install one wire at a time and you should have no problems installing these. It took me about an hour to install these but I'm slow. I got 100,000 miles out of my last set of OE wires and spark plugs and my 4Runner was still running great but it was time to replace them.

My 8 year old ones fell apart so these were very needed. Fit perfectly and tight.

Quality Denso wires for a Toyota 3.4 liter V6. Used these when I had a factory wire burn arc through the number 6 cylinder after 220k miles. Just remember this is only 3 wires. The passenger side uses tubes (not included in this kit) that are attached to the coils.

Exactly as expected

Replaced the original wire set on my 1998 Toyota Tacoma with V6. A couple wires were slightly shorter than the OEM but didn't have to change routing of the wires at any point. Excellent price compared to other parts stores. I replaced the spark plugs at the same time with OEM plugs from Toyota, as that's what was recommended online.
