first yes, it has an odor, I have bought this rubber in different thicknesses, and they all have that industrial odor, so when I get it, I unroll and hang on a rack in my open back porch for a week. The smell dissipates and your good to go! This is good quality rubber, great for making a lot of things like gaskets, to line toolboxes, padding so things don't get scratched or rub. I made a weatherproof flap for my garage door keypad, so not only is it hidden it never gets wet even when a strong storm is blowing. I used the .25 thickness to make a pad for under my bench grinder to quiet the hum when its running, I could write pages listing all the things I have used this rubber for!

It seems to be a good, quality product for sure. Definitely expensive, but if this is the product you need it will likely be worth it. I had to return it because I misread the length of the product.

While what I received was exactly as they described it, just letting others know in case they want it for the same purpose I did: to use as anti-skid material. It isn't good for that. It's too slick and stiff and allows skidding to happen.

Perfect size and thickness for replacing the oem way cover on my bench mill. The oem way cover material was too thick. It limited the Y travel and eventually split.

I wish the seller truly specified the thickness. It's exactly 1mm, not 1/32".

Gaskets can sometimes be hard to source. I fixed my riding lawn mower several years ago by making my own gasket from a bicycle innertube. It was a carburetor gasket that time. I don't expect it to fail any time soon either. This WochiTV Solid Rubber Sheets checks all the boxes. The trick is to get a template of the gasket you need. I traced the outline on a sheet of paper. Then cut. It will cut with scissors, but I found that the easiest way to cut this is with a sharp utility knife. I used this to fix a failed gasket on my boiler's circulation pump. It has a small leak that probably could have been fixed with silicone, but I wanted a more permanent fix. Unfortunately, the old gasket fell apart as I was removing it. Otherwise, that would have been the perfect template. The last picture shows my finished gasket. I did make some more cuts to make it fit better. The boiler system operates at 180 degrees Fahrenheit and varies from 12 to 20 pounds of pressure. I don't think this homemade gasket will fail for years, if at all. I got the 1/8" thick gasket material but could have used the 1/16" just as well. The rubber does have some 'give' to it so when I tightened down the bolts, it compressed nicely. Sort of what you want a gasket to do. This helps provide a nice tight, leak resistant seal. I wouldn't be reluctant to use this on a more demanding project. The material appears to be well made and sturdy. It wants to hold the shape of the roll it is shipped in, but with some work I was able to flatten it out. Great product to have on hand for the occasion when stores are closed, or you can't find the right gasket. I assume this material can be used for many other things. I have enough left over when I do find another use. Great product. Great price.

Great for a craft cutting surface. You can either nail, tack, or tape it down to any surface and it will make it much easier to do precision cuts with a blade. Hard/ stiff enough to take weight without deforming and soft enough to easily cut. Cuts do not self heal but unless it’s a deep cut you will not notice them for a long time. When you do you just roll out a new section and you’re ready to go. Highly recommend for model builders who build balsa wood or wood models. Also can be used for plastic builds as well.

Item as described. Needed 1/32" thickness neoprene, this worked perfectly.

Solid rubber mat exactly as described by seller. Should work well if that is what you are looking for. My only complaint is that they are shipped "rolled up" and are difficult to flatten out, which is what most people will want.

The rubber sheet arrived well packaged and it was wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve with the ends tucked in, inside it was rolled up tightly and bound with some clear sellotape. It measures almost exactly at the advertised dimensions in height and length, and according to my digital callipers the thickness is also close enough at between 3.2 and 3.4mm across a dozen spots. This is a big sheet of thick synthetic rubber that can be used for a huge range of tasks around the home, garden and workshop. As I mentioned in my title, I grabbed this primarily to use as an airtight gasket material between the polycarbonate lid and the body of a vacuum chamber I'm planning to construct. The sheet is a continuous single piece and it is made to a fantastic standard, there are no inconsistencies or weaknesses across the entire piece and it is cut cleanly & squarely to the correct dimensions. It isn’t difficult to work with once you’ve managed to flatten it out a bit, using a fresh blade in my Stanley knife made quick work of trimming it alongside a straight edge. I will say that the inside of the rolled up sheet was fairly dirty, but nothing a quick wipe with a soapy cloth couldn’t sort out when it arrived. As expected and mentioned in the product listing it had/has a distinct rubber smell that takes some time to disperse, but other than that this is a great piece of material for the price point. £10.99 is hard to beat for this thickness and size so I'll absolutely be back for more when the need arises.
