Accel Performance Ignition Coils
PERFECT! These new coils have breathed new life into my 2007 Expedition EL 5.4L Triton engine with over 200K miles.Installation of the entire set took about an hour and a half. Her timing and misfire issues are a thing of the past! No more fault codes. No more check engine light. She runs smoother than she has in years. Very reasonable upgrade investment. If you are reading this and trying to decide to replace one or all, REPLACE ALL of them at the same time for maximum effect. Well worth it!

Works great, only 4 stars due to the fact that I bought it because this exact one went out on my truck. Truck had them when I bought it so might've had a long life, but at 166k, the originals probably weren't replaced until closer to 100. Who knows.

Awesome tune up upgrade on 5.4L 3V Triton
I purchased a set of these to replace my existing COP units when I prepared for my 100K spark plug change on my '06 Expedition. If you go through the labor to pull the "hard-to-reach" plugs you might swap out the coils as well! These units work great in combination with the double platinum plugs and are less than 1/2 the price of OEM COP units! Win-Win! Thanks Amazon! BTW these are made for both the 4.6L and 5.4L Triton 3 Valve engines... I had to dig around to make sure. I bought one extra to have a spare on the shelf for the next 100K miles.

Better than OEM
The Accel Supercoils are a must upgrade to the 5.4 Liter Triton Engine. They smooth out misfires and increase power to the engine over OEM coils. Easy to install in almost all 8 cylinders, back ones are tricky. Only significant challenge is the mounts tend to strip easy and then it is recommended to tap the holes to 6mm and buy new bolts.
