It moves alot of air but it's extremely loud. Anyone that says it's quiet it obviously deaf. I did however get a speed controller to turn down the speed at the lowest setting it still moves enough air but is still pretty loud...but more tolerable. Of course it's in the wall between the bedroom and living room to circulate the air...if it was in the attic I guess it would sound quieter. I can't hear the TV with it on unless it's all the way up.

this fan can really much some air, but it is super LOUD. If you want to move air someplace that you can't hear very useful. If you like the sound of a jet right next to you, also very nice.

Very effective at moving air. No vibration . Very well balanced. On the loud side. I added a variable speed controller. I would buy this again!

This fans was louder that the one that was already there…

The biggest 4" blower that fit my budget didn't do it as a small generator ventilator. I used 3 feet of 8" flex duct and a 8" to 4" adapter at the 4" outlet vent for this one. This blower moves some air. It keeps the generator cool, no CO buildup (it had climbed even with an external exhaust with the small blower). Quite pleased with it.

Upstairs bedroom bakes in Florida's heat. Central A/C couldn't keep up even after buying a portable A/C unit to supplement. Installed duct fan and bedroom maintains set temp. Room is approximately 210 ft².

This fan DID solve my air balancing issues. It is also noticeably loud. I would say its slightly louder than a old bathroom exhaust fan and can hear it throughout the house at all hours.
