Scan docs into multipage or single page PDF/JPEG formats + Great print quality
Main reason I bought this printer was to be compatible with Windows 10 that my old printer was not and I also wanted to be able to scan in a bunch of old docs from my file drawer to keep digital copies of the documents & clean out the filing cabinet of all of the piles of papers. The machine has excellent scan quality either by top tray loading several pages at once, single pages at a time, or by scanning a doc on the glass screen. You can do multi-page PDF/JPG format scanning or single page...the machine will ask you on the screen if it senses there are no more documents in the feeder if you have any more docs you'd like to include in that particular scan. Very intuitive to use. Also, was very quick to get hooked up to wifi so I can wirelessly print and when I make a scan to my USB drive that is plugged in the printer, I don't even have to unplug the USB drive and plug it into my computer. I can actually access what scans are on the USB drive plugged into the printer WIRELESSLY from my computer and I can move files from that USB drive that's still in my printer over to a different folder on my actual computer. Super convenient!! Ink cartridges last much longer with this unit than with my old HP printer and cost significantly less when finally time to replace them when you use a 3rd party vendor. I've had no printer jams yet, and print quality has been great! We will be keeping this printer awhile! Love everything it has done for us already!

Don't let the bad reviews sway you!
You know, it's funny: if you're like me, you've searched around Amazon for an hour looking for the next printer...and on every single printer you find, it has about 60% 5-star reviews, and 40% 1-star reviews. Statistically, *every* printer you look at on Amazon could be magical or could be a bust! I looked closely at the reviews on this printer and, based on what our needs are as a business, went with this one based on a gut feeling (and past positive experiences with Epson printers). I'm glad I did. This thing is AWESOME. First of all, you should know that it is a BIG printer. When we unboxed it, we were surprised at the size — but in our case, that's a good thing. It's sturdy, and can handle printing large sheets (which is important to us as a creative agency — we use this feature regularly). The touchscreen is very responsive and well-designed, and initial set up of the printer was a breeze. We simply followed the instructions given in the packaging and we had the thing up and running (with both Windows and Mac machines) in about 10 minutes, with everybody in the office able to print, scan, and copy their hearts out with no problems whatsoever. Overall, if you're on the fence and just not sure if you should pull the trigger, I can assure you: you're making the right call by going with this printer. You won't be disappointed. :)

A nice replacement for a perfectly good printer
So with the last update to Windows 10, my perfectly good working printer was deemed obsolete. The search began for new printer. I decided on this one as it is wireless connection and also has wide format printing. I like to print out my own art work to hang in my home so the wide format hooked me. Only real problem was getting the printer into the house and out of the box. I am old and not so strong anymore. It was heavy for me. Even the box itself was heavy. It was very well packed and survived making it to my home which is at the end of the line for shippers. It spent a long day in the delivery truck traveling on rough country roads. The only other problem was setting up the WiFi connection. I had to enter the info myself. That turned out to be easy too. I have made a few prints. Have to check the settings to avoid stripes showing in the prints. No big deal though. Just a matter of getting the correct settings. All in all a very nice printer for the price. Cannot speak to ink usage as I have not printed much to date. I like the touch screen. Easy to use. Hope it keeps working until Windows 10 decides it too is obsolete.

Great for art work prints and other projects like Christmas cards.
Day after we bought this the price went up $30. Right now the price is $179.99. Worth it. We needed something to do 11 x 17 art prints and other projects. I think we have printed 500 8.5 x 11 pages text and graphics and still have the original ink cartridges. The black ink ran out, but it will print black without the black ink. Does everything we bought it for and more, except I think it does not do transparencies and does not have a windows XP driver at all - windows 7 and above only.

Dies exactly the moment that warranty expires
Few of the features on this printer ever worked properly. Wireless printing was on and off. Usually if I wanted to print something the machine refused to do so and would require a reset to reconnect the wireless connection. Scanning could only be performed via a memory device... the scan to a PC tool never wanted to work. So, it never did more than the basics of printing to copy paper, and when it printed it printed. photo printing, large sheets, photo stock, feeding from the back... All described and claimed supported by the manual However, if you every actually did try to print a photo you were guaranteed a dissapointment. (Misalignments, over prints, and of course the endlessly fun game of not recognizing the paper size, just sitting there, and when you resolve, running your photo paper through the machine and throwing it on the floor while printing a wasted page on the copy paper.... soaking it with $25 ink) Now, exactly 2 years after buying it, from one day to the next black and the colours wont print. The cleaning procedure, repeated 20x time plus, just drains ink but every time a different 'block' shows up as failed. Epson support, non-existent This is now the last one I will ever buy. I have gone through so many of them, and they all shed features untill one day they just stop doing the one basic thing... print. 2 years of frustration is all I got from this thing

While it works, it's awesome
The problem with these printers is that when they fail, they fail hard. You absolutely MUST print something at least once a week, if not more frequently. If you don't, the print heads clog, dry out, or simply stop responding to ink release commands and you end up with very poor quality output. If you print things regularly, or even every day, the quality is very good. The interface is intuitive and very easy to use. Ink is pricey, but accurately used - while the printer works.

Great printer for sublimation
The 7710 is a popular unit for sublimation printing. Following the various setup tutorials that are online, I converted from the Epson ink to third-party sublimation ink in a day. It takes time for new ink to prime through the ink channels and can be frustrating to users who are converting first-time, but it's important to let the printer rest and let physics work the ink through properly. Once it's done, the results are consistent. The print quality is amazing. I thought I might get "ok" results from a relatively inexpensive printer, but the photo quality is amazing and the sublimation transfer are crisp and perfectly saturated on polyester garments and treated ceramics. You do have to perform at least one print nozzle check every 3-4 days to make sure the ink doesn't dry up on the heads, regardless of if you are using conventional or sublimation ink. I'm very happy with this printer and highly recommend it to anyone, whether they are looking for an all-in-one office/home printer, or looking to sublimate.

Several Months Down the road
You know, I wrestled with HP printers for nearly my entire adult electronic life. Really bad software and units that just could not hold a connection. This unit was larger than my older traditional units, but I figured out a way to make it work. And as a unit, it has worked every day, every time for two work at home professionals that print constantly. I really like the functionality for the size and price, and again, for the price, it is a great value. I would highly recommend this unit if you understand its dimensions. Again, its size surprised me, because I did not really understand that when I bought it, which was totally fine. The number one thing I like, is I am no longer spending my hard earned minutes trying to figure out why my printer will not stay connected or lose documents in the queue. I also felt that the dynamics of the printing itself was a step above HP. I also have a feeling, even though I have not done analysis that the print cartridges go further with this unit. Great product! Delivered intact and on time! Thanks Epson.
