Samsung 990 PRO Heatsink SSD
I recently installed the Samsung 990 PRO Heatsink NVMe M.2 SSD (2TB) in my PS5, and it has completely transformed my gaming experience. Installation was straightforward thanks to the included heatsink, and it fits perfectly in the PS5 expansion slot without any clearance issues. Performance-wise, this SSD is a beast. With read speeds up to 7,450 MB/s and write speeds up to 6,900 MB/s, load times for games are practically instantaneous, and everything from open-world titles to massive updates feels seamless. Even with extended gaming sessions, the heatsink does an excellent job keeping temperatures in check, so there’s no thermal throttling to worry about. The added RGB is a nice touch if you have a custom PC setup, though it’s not visible inside the PS5. Storage-wise, 2TB gives me plenty of room for my library of AAA titles and video editing projects without constantly juggling space. Overall, this SSD is an absolute powerhouse for PS5 owners who want lightning-fast load times, reliable thermal performance, and ample storage. El Samsung 990 PRO de 2TB es simplemente impresionante. La velocidad de lectura y escritura es altísima, ideal para quienes buscan el máximo rendimiento en juegos, edición de vídeo o trabajos que requieren mover grandes cantidades de datos. La diferencia respecto a un SSD más básico se nota desde el primer arranque: tiempos de carga casi instantáneos y fluidez absoluta. La instalación es muy sencilla en placas base compatibles con PCIe 4.0, y el software de Samsung (Magician) ayuda a gestionar actualizaciones y monitorizar el estado del disco. Además, al ser de 2TB, hay espacio más que suficiente para juegos, programas y archivos pesados. En cuanto a temperatura, se mantiene estable incluso con uso intensivo, aunque se recomienda contar con buena ventilación o disipador si se va a exprimir al máximo. En resumen, un SSD tope de gama, rápido, fiable y con gran capacidad. Perfecto para quienes quieren lo mejor en almacenamiento.
