I've bought three of these cameras in the past year for various projects and they've been fantastic for the price. UVC (on Windows) and HDMI output have worked well, including driving a 30-foot HDMI extension cable. Having a built-in choice of USB or HDMI is quite handy in a lab environment. Some caveats to be aware of: you need to set focal length, focus, and aperture MANUALLY on any of the supplied lenses, and this can be tricky because of the tiny set screws and the sensitivity to some adjustments. These cams do draw a LOT of power from a 5V USB power supply and get hot to the touch, so my advice is to power them from dedicated supplies and only use them in well-ventilated, climate-controlled environments. Finally, it should go without saying really, but these are not suitable for general video production purposes: there are no controls for color (which is generally terrible), sensor gain, shutter angle, or focus (which is exclusively manual). The sensor is small compared to full-frame or APS-C camera bodies and that, plus the high temps these cameras attain, makes the image noisy. For many imaging tasks in labs or industry, these are great, and that is where I think the value lies.

This is a question for the seller. How do you get 4K output on the HDMI port? 1080 is clear, but I bought the camera for 4K output. Please Assist. Thanks,

I use this camera for video in my piano studio. It is amazing. It has excellent white balance. I can zoom in to a very specific location (sheet music) and fine-tune the focus. It is much better than my other more expensive cameras.

Not what I expected,I returned it

We use this as one of two fixed cameras to capture our church services. The resolution is great and it is fairly easy to set up for a fixed position, set-it-and-forget-it scenario.

Excelente. Hay que considerar que es una cámara "tonta", es decir todos los ajustes los tiene que hacer el usuario (zoom, enfoque, iluminación) pero tiene gran calidad de imagen y conectividad. La usé para una transmisión en un evento médico bajo techo y funcionó de maravilla.
