Works better than expected!!
I sincerely LOVE how easy it is to use and doesn't require batteries! Recharging is simple and doesn't take long. Also after opening cans, the lids that are left over are dull to the touch so you won't cut yourself! Now for the very few negatives. The only things that aren't quite as advertised is the magnet underneath that's supposed to lift the lid after opening the cans? Doesn't work. Either it's not strong enough or I'm somehow operating it wrong which I highly doubt it. I had to physically "lift" each and every lid left over by the can opener but honestly since they are left dull as previously stated, it wasn't really an issue. Another thing related to that, there's a switch underneath that is used to extend this metal piece in case the lid doesn't come off with the magnet? That never worked either. Last thing I'll say is it never stops turning until you press the button on top once more. That's also not a big deal but I've seen stationary can openers that stopped once it went 360° and this one just keeps going. Other than that, this product is amazing and I'm so happy I got it! Far superior than your regular old manual can opener 😁

It works beautifully!
I think the thing that most impresses me about this can opener is how good of quality it is. It's well made, fits into the palm of my hand so perfectly. I really admire how nice it is every time I use it. It's kinda fun to open a can. There is nothing that I don't like about this about this can opener. Here is the good stuff: Very easy to use. Cuts smoothly. No sharp edges. Rechargeable, no batteries to change. No electrical cord. Compact. Fits right in drawer with other utensils. I look each time to clean after cutting, but yet to see a mess. I'm sure all you have to do to clean it is wipe it down. This is a Good quality product.

3rd take - no customer service 2nd take - Not remotely worth it 1st take - certain cans hang it up
3rd take - emailed months ago now, the silence is deafening, not a peep from them - DO NOT BOTHER BUYING 2nd opinion - 2 weeks later, this poc is effectively useless, get hung up on absolutely ever can now, vendor won't reply to request for help, Amazon is no longer helpful as were past the 30 day mark. I'm ready to hurl it thru a window. Idea was, great, 82 yo mil living with us, tool challenged wife, & I've gout in my ...every where... with wrists generally in pain or super stiff always from residual arthritis - and I'm a gadget junky. So, it simply stalls either immediately or after a millimeters of the circumference, then just sits there motor spinning grinding slivers of metal from the edge, totally not cool. If you try to help it, it still stalls, in fact it's just a frustrating experience in getting screwed over with a tool that's supposed to improve on opening cans and assist living. Nope - so run away, screaming. 1st opinion - I'm seeing an odd mix in the review, fine on big bad on small, fine on small, bad on big... our experience do far is a mixed bag. It's hung up on tuna cans here, needs a zetz when it gets hung up, which on tuna seems to be repeatedly. Opened Rotel tomato & chilis fine, tomato paste, it wanted to topple, but opened fine, standard (I think #10) cans have been no issue, but the smoked clam & oyster retengular cans are a no go, the brim is too short so the blade runs too high to open the seal. When it's going I really like this, good edge, not sharp, not seeing burrs, relatively fast, pretty quite, opened maybe 20 cans so far, seems the charge is holding fine. I would suggest have a manual opener on hand for the odd can that isn't cooperating, but my impression it will handle 90%

It’s super cool.
It’s super cool. The sticky backing wasn’t strong enough causing it to fall to the ground. It survived the fall without issues but for now I keep it in the drawer. Fun and easy to use. Looks great

My aging wrists appreciate this!
I never thought I would buy an electric can opener. I remember the free-standing kind while growing up and always thought they were an eyesore and took up valuable counter space in the kitchen. As I've grown older, however, and my hands and wrists have gotten weaker and are prone to pain, turning a manual can opener has gotten to be more and more cumbersome – especially when the first time around didn't completely cut off the lid – so this product is great. All you do is lay it across the can with the can's lip between the cutting mechanism and push the button. That's it. My only suggestion to improve this would be if it could sense when it's finished and automatically stop, but, instead, you need to push the button again to stop it. (In fairness, I've never seen any similar products that could do that, either.) Other things I like about this product: • It requires no batteries to install (and wear out and be thrown in the trash). Like more and more products these days, it's rechargeable with an included USB cord. • It doesn't take up any counter space; it's so small that I just put it in a drawer with my other kitchen gadgets. • It cuts the lid off from the side of the can – not the top like traditional can openers – so there are no sharp edges to slide open your fingers. • It has a magnet just behind the cutter that attaches to the lid once it's been completely detached, so when you pull the device off the can, it should bring the lid with it. All in all, it's a nice product that already has saved my wrists and hand from significant discomfort.

A little can opening miracle!
This can opener takes some getting used to but it works like a dream. It opens the cans along the very OUTER edge of the can, so in some cases it may need to go around several times before it actually OPENS the can. Have patience. Also, take you finger and push or lift the lid on the edge if you are sure it's open. The cans have a vacuum seal in them so be aware cans are cooked and sealed under pressure. It seems to be a quality built little piece of equipment, and is NOT BATTERY OPERATED, but instead you plug it in (charger provided) to recharge it, which I like! It is a plastic construction, but it is easy to use and easy to keep clean. NO MORE TWISTING a handle to try to open a can that doesn't want to open. While I don't have arthritis, I can certainly appreciate not having to deal with an 'old fashioned' can opener. I also greatly appreciate that I DON'T HAVE TO HAVE THIS SITTING OUT ON MY COUNTER TOP. It tucks away in a drawer out of sight.

Best EverUPDATE
We had an old stand up counter can opener that, after many years, finally stopped working. I did a lot of research on can openers , completely shocked at the MANY MANY options. I chose this one based on the reviews, ease of use, and the fact that it's rechargeable instead of constantly plugged in. I love that it fits right in my drawer and is easy to grab when needed. I love that everyone in the house can use it (ages 11-50) and that it's quiet. I never realized how much noise my other can opener made. I charged it when I received it and haven't had to recharge yet and have used it just about every day. Just placed it on top of the can, press the button, and feel free to stir sauce or check oven while it does it's job. Then just press the button to stop and pop the top. No sharp edges. No loud noise. Easy to use and easy to store!!! BOUGHT IN SEPT 2023 AND IT WILL NOT CHARGE ANYMORE. TRIED MULTIPLE DIFFERENT CABLES WITH NO LUCK!!!

No venía completo
El producto no venía completo. En la descripción decía que incluía el cable USB-C y no lo traía. De por sí el producto no es barato y ahora a gastar más para poder cargarlo.

Games changer for my parents
I recently purchased the Canslab Electric Can Opener for Seniors with Arthritis for my parents, and it has been a game-changer! This device is incredibly user-friendly and has made opening cans of all sizes effortless for them. The rechargeable battery is a fantastic feature, ensuring it’s always ready to use without the hassle of constantly replacing batteries. The one-touch operation is perfect for seniors, especially those with arthritis, as it requires minimal effort. My parents have found it to be quiet and efficient, opening cans quickly and smoothly without any sharp edges. It’s also compact and easy to store, which is a bonus. Overall, this can opener has significantly improved my parents’ kitchen experience, making meal prep much easier and more enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and convenient can opener, especially for those with limited hand strength or arthritis.

Wonderful Customer Service!
I really like this can opener. It is easy to use and has worked on every can I have opened in the past week. The one draw back is that the magnet has not worked once on any can. I have had to use the pop out opener on all the cans. I would say the magnet is not strong enough to be useful. It should lift the lid on a soup can. Having said that the can opener is 100% better than the regular counter top can opener I have. As long as this one works I will be happy with it. I am adding to this review. I said I really liked this can opener and I did, but after just two months, it quit working. Therefore I cannot get a refund and am out the cost of the opener, so certainly would NOT recommend. I am adding a further review. The company contacted me as they must have seen my review. Offered to send me an upgraded version of the can opener and apologized that I had problems with the one I received. Wow that is what I call excellent customer service so I would highly recommend buying from this company!

Major disappoint!!!
After reading some of the 1 star reviews, I'm baffled and worried I may have some issues down the road. In the meantime however, I can't rave enough about this product. Simply place it on the top of the can and press the button. No need to hold anything and when it goes around once you press the button again and it stops. A flick of the lid and it's off. The best part is, and I have no idea how they've accomplished it, the tin can has NO sharp edges and the lid has NO sharp edges. There is no sharp tip where the lid came off. NOTHING!! So far, it's the best can opener I have ever owned. My compliments to the designer. Well, it was the best opener I've ever owned. In fact I was so impressed I bought another for a friend. Waiting for it to fail too. Thought you get what you pay for so I was confident that this was it. After maybe 8 - 10 cans it just stopped opening them. Went about an inch and failed to go any further. Tried another spot - and the same results. Tried other cans and the same results. Very disappointed and a considerable amount of money lost. Buyer beware! I so loved this opener.

Compact and easy to use.
Everything is good and works pretty good. It's just that some cans it takes more than one go around to get the lid off the can completely cut/separated from the body of the can. It also keeps going and so far I've had to stop the can most of the time. It really does a good job of leaving no sharp edges of the lid or can.
