As I did not have a ABV meter I let it ferment for 14 days. Also used 1kg of Sugar then 1Tsp per 1litre when bottling. Left the bottles for 4 days and the results were brilliant. My friend said it was his "favourite stout." The taste was much like 'Old Peculiar.' but deeper and more flavorsome. I used 2ltr Soft Drink Bottles and 1 ltr Glass bottles for the bottling. Very happy with the product. Recommend two fermentation buckets to keep things on the go rather than having to wait for the next batch!

Superb. You simply cannot go wrong at this price and a delicious end product. I'd go easy on the sugar when bottling, stout doesn't need too much, and leave at least three weeks in the dark after bottling before drinking. Chilling for 48 hours makes a big difference too.

Used a inkbird to keep temp at 18degrees formenting .. formented for 2 weeks ..bottled left for 2weeks and just tried a sample and tbh was impressed.will now leave for longer

Great stout. Tastes great but gets even better if left to mature a little longer. I used beer enhancer instead of brewing sugar which added a bit to the cost. But totally worth it. Would I buy it again? Absolutely

one of my go to stout kits, tried ones at twice the price and they still don't beat this one. fermented under pressure at 1.5 bar and served from keg, great taste and creamy head.

Great communication, good product. At first yeast was missing, but as soon as I contacted vendor, they were absolutely prompt in sending immediately the yeast.
