Follow The Reaper

I may need to buy a second copy (used) as I wasn't expecting to receive this in original cellophane and I just can't bring myself to break into it. :) Very happy to have this in my collection nonetheless. As far as the music is concerned this album is bloody great, listened to it hundreds of times in mp3 format so no surprises there. Delivery was expected next day but I ordered late at night so I was delighted to receive it so quickly.

Really great album, probably the best COB album to start with, bit more melody and keyboard than HCDR, not saying that's a good or bad thing, just pointing it out. The cover of WASP's Hellion is awesome too, solid all round

I haven't listened to this CD, but I bought it as a present for someone else and they have informed me that it is awesome and they're very happy with it. If they're happy, I'm happy so I believe it's earned a good rating.

10/ 10 for the heavy metal lords, price was good too.

I don't normally like albums with constant death vocals/grunts all the way through, so am really surprised with the quality of this album. Put simply, it is classic melodic death metal. The guitar work is absolutely top quality and the melodys are really catchy and from my perspective the vocals fit perfectly. This is a top quality album with some really stand out songs. Key ammongst them being the excellent Hate me, Every time I die and Follow the reaper. Not quite sure about the cover of WASP's Hellion, (no where near as good as the original) but I think that this only slightly mars the overall album. If you like Death Metal, you'll love this, and if you don't, give this a chance and like me you will probably be pleasantly surprised.

No se puede pensar en children of bodom sin pensar en este album. El album favorito de Alexi Laiho , y de muchos de sus fans , esta lleno de auténticos himnos de la banda. Con él se dieron a conocer mundialmente y sin duda es su disco más exitoso. Todos sus temas son dignos de ser tocados en directo , derrochan fuerza y carácter y cuanto más lo escuchas , mas te enganchas porque es terriblemente adictivo . SIMPLEMENTE IMPRESCINDIBLE PARA CUALQUIER AMANTE DEL METAL !!!

このバンドを知ったのは来日が終わってからなので非常にタイミングが悪かった！ チルボドのライブ早く行きてー！ ギターもいいけど、このバンドを聴いてキーボードもいいなと感じました。 メタルってキーボードもボーカル並みの主役なんだと勉強させられました。

A BEAUTIFUL picture disc vinyl of my personal favorite COB album. Worth owning if you have a good quality record player (NOT Crosley) so that you won't scratch the record beyond all comprehension. Only problem with my personal record I received was that unfortunately this record comes in a very flimsy and thin plastic outer shell which was torn in multiple areas upon delivery. Other than that though, the record was in mint condition and I highly recommend this release. Put it in a sleeve, people!
