Dried Jasmine Flowers

I wanted to know what Jasmine tea tasted like on its own rather than Jasmine green tea. It tasted pretty alright. The scent was a bit disappointing, but not bad. Now, I will try and see if I can plant the jasmine bulbs and add jasmine to my summer garden. Wish me luck!

The buds are beautiful but have no fragrance or flavor as tea regardless of how long steeped. I would say they are not useful as a garnish either as they are tasteless, dry brittle and smell kind of like a stale toasted rice cracker. If I advertised something with a jasmine garnish I think people would be disappointed with these flowers. they are pretty and I could see them being useful for artistic projects. The entire bag has this scent of toasted stale rice crackers. It’s odd. These are sourced from China, and the manufacturer & distribution address is kinda dystopian like “South of floor 3, building 6, no. 894 road, high tech zone 3, China” like wow, that’s intense.

What a great, fresh product. Very happy with my purchase! I make bar syrup with it (simple: Bring to a boil this ratio of 1/2 water, & half sugar, and a handful of these delightful flowers. Allow to cool and steep for an hour or so. Try making a gin sour with it! For two cocktails: In a shaker cup - Juice either one large lemon or two limes depending upon your preference, add 2 oz. bar syrup, 4 oz. gin, one egg white, and plenty of ice. Shake it up until the egg white is nice and foamy! Rim two cocktail glasses with sugar, add ice, then pour strained mixture into your glass. ENJOY :-) Thanks again for such a great product (and FYI - I do these syrups with lavender, rose, and hibiscus, too).

There is no jasmine aroma to these at all. While I want to rate these lower because I’m personally disappointed— it wouldn’t be fair since I already know that delicate florals lose their aromatics when dried out. When brewed, it just tastes earthy and musty, not too pleasant at all. It’s great as an edible garnish and the price and decent for the amount you get

I usually order all my bulk tea and herb supplies from Monterey Bay Herb Company, but they were out of dried jasmine flowers, which I needed for my favorite tea blend. I decided to give these a try, and I was not let down! The quality is fantastic, with a wonderfully fresh aroma and flavor. These jasmine flowers have made my tea blend even better. Highly recommend to any tea lover looking for top-notch jasmine flowers!

I use this as tea and my hair , boil it and use the water to feed my hair every morning and night. Hair is longer and length maintenance . My Afro is beautiful.

I was really disappointed with this dried jasmine. It had almost no smell and no flavor at all, even after steeping it properly in hot water. I expected a strong floral jasmine aroma, but it tasted like plain water with dry petals. Unfortunately, not worth the money.
