It symbolizes power and excellence, valiancy and boldness, heroism and perseverance, nobility and divinity Review: Great for a gift. - It was a good weight and beautiful. Review: Ink all over! - The pen itself is unique. Felt heavy and well made. The sphere at the top spins, not sure if suppose to or not. I purchased the ink cartridges for the pen. I placed one in the pen and wrote. It wrote as it should. I sat the pen on a pen stand overnight and returned to it the following day. I removed the cap to write and got ink all over my hands and clothing. This is my first pen of this type although I wouldn’t think this is suppose to happen or if I did something wrong. The pen went in the trash in less than 30 hours of having it. If it’s suppose to leak then it’s a nice pen. If it’s not suppose to leak then I would advise looking for another pen.

Works great for me!
It's a nice weighty pen, feels well made and writes well. Just one note, the refill ink cartridges are not all the same size so it may not fit. Get an ink bottle instead and use the original cartridge that comes with it. It writes so beautifully wow.

Stylish and comfortable to use
Comfortable to hold even with the design, which was something I was worried about. I'd almost like an extra fine nib, though.

This is a nice pen. I like the weight of it
This is a nice pen. I like the weight of it, the only thing that i would change about it is the Jewel on the cap moves, rattles and spins.

a little of everything
Writes beautifully, nib is nicely responsive to pressure and works on even cheap (printer) paper. Wonderfully heavy in the hand, was surprised at the weight when I received it, but even as someone who types for a living it will never wear me out - fountain pens are a physical and psychological counterpoint to the omnipresent cheap clicking of the $10 keyboard, and this one, for about $20, is the ultimate! Yes, the Jewel on the end spins, it's a feature! It would be a crime to glue it down! I really thought it would be a cheap plastic blob, but it is a genuine (synthetic) dragon eye! Fantastic! It is _gaudy_, and some would consider even pretentious, but you already knew that from the pictures. That's the purpose. Another counterpoint to that dreary keyboard. I'll be keeping it right next to mine! I like the screw-on post feature - the cap will never pop off when I'm writing! Comes with converter, but no worries about messy ink fills, just order the set of cartridges of all different colors at the same time you get the pen. Very inexpensive. Only problem I had was initially getting it flowing, easily solved by dampening the nib with water and making a few lines on a piece of paper. They didn't charge more for extravagant packaging and apparently pass the savings onto the buyer - arrives in bubble wrap and comes with a velvet pouch. This pen makes for a great gift, just receive it personally and wrap it yourself! This is my fourth fountain pen, not counting dozens of Kooh-i-noor rapidographs I've had over the last four or five decades, and my first Jinhou, and I'm quite sold on Jinhou, amazing bang for the buck! I'm a harsh critic, so this is an extraordinary endorsement. Cheers!
