This is a Truly Excellent Bluetooth Receiver and is Extremely Easy to Use
This Bluetooth Receiver, Hi-Fi Wireless Audio Adapter, 1Mii Bluetooth 4.2 Adapter with 3D Surround aptX Low Latency for Home Music Streaming Stereo System (Upgraded Version with Power Adapter) is a truly excellent Bluetooth receiver. Formerly I had a computer attached to my Logitech Compact Speaker System Z320 for Notebooks which are excellent powered speakers (though they have been discontinued and you do not want to buy them now at the insanely high price dealers are asking). Because of certain aesthetics in our home, my wife wanted me to get rid of that computer and install a Bluetooth receiver in its place. (The speakers are in our foyer and she detested that a computer was installed there. I guess I can't blame her. The computer really did look out of place.) So, in the spirit of "a happy wife is a happy life," I ordered this Bluetooth receiver from Amazon the other day and I am very glad that I did. The sound produced from those speakers is at least the equal of what I heard via the computer and the ease of use, convenience, and aesthetics of having a Bluetooth receiver instead of a computer in our foyer is much more acceptable to her. This particular receiver has Bluetooth 4.2 plus AptX. Regarding sound quality over Bluetooth transmission at this time, that's as good as it gets. Setup could not have been easier. I didn't even look at the instructions (which are written in "Chinglish") until after I had the unit up and running. I connect its power supply to a switched outlet. When I activate the outlet, this receiver turns on instantly. First pairing was almost instantaneous. (And, as with most other devices of this type, you only have to initially pair it one time. Then it "remembers" your connection.) And now the connection to my cell phone is automatic and occurs practically instantly. Reception is excellent, as good as with any other Bluetooth receiver I own (and I own quite a few of them). There are two "levels" of sound quality. When the large round LED shows blue, that is "regular" sound. When the "3D" button is pressed the LED glows green and the sound is enhanced. I have been using the 3D effect exclusively. To my ears, it sound better that way. (You, of course, may disagree.) Though I am currently using this particular Bluetooth receiver in our foyer with different powered computer speakers ( Samson MediaOne M30 3" Powered Studio Monitors (Pair) which sound much better than the Logitechs ([and are connected via AmazonBasics 2-Male to 2-Male RCA Audio Cable - 4 Feet , a capability that not all Bluetooth modules have]), it can be used with just about any audio system. It comes complete with cords enabling attachment to 3.5mm devices as well as to those, such as a receiver (any my amplified speakers), which have RCA connections. (I tried it temporarily with my 'main' sound system, which consists of, among other things, a Yamaha A-S701BL Natural Sound Integrated Stereo Amplifier (Black) 'feeding' a pair of Klipschorns, and it produced sound quality indistinguishable from the 'higher-end' AudioTech Bluetooth receiver I use in that system.) It has no internal battery; it operates via AC power only. Its power cord is such that it can be use in a car via the car's powered USB port or with a ENERGIZER 120W Cup Inverter 12V DC cigarette lighter to 120V AC to power laptop notebook & more w/ 4 USB ports 2.1A shared compatible with iPad & more or a Car Charger Quick Charge 3.0 RAVPower 40W 3A Car Adapter with Dual QC USB Ports for iPhone X / 8 / 8 Plus, iPad Pro 2017, Google Pixel, Sumsung Galaxy Note 8 / S9 / S8 / S8 Plus / S7 and More . So while it has no battery, it can still be used almost anywhere. It can even be powered via one of those Anker 2nd-Gen Astro E5 High-Capacity 16750mAh 3A Portable External Battery Charger with PowerIQ Technology for iPhone, iPad, Nintendo Switch and More or similar. What more can I say? It is a superb piece of equipment and I like it very much (plus my wife is pleased too) and I give it my highest recommendation. Thank you for reading this. Lawrence H. Bulk

Easy to setup and use and saved some good speakers from not being used
After upgrading to an Apple Studio Display, my old Bose computer speakers were left without a job. To save them from being given away, I bought this Bluetooth adapter to repurpose them for my living room. Setup was a breeze—it arrived the next day, plugged right into the speakers, and paired with my phone instantly. It sounds excellent for Apple Music and audiobooks. As a bonus, the 3D setting does a great job of creating a wider, surround-sound experience. Highly recommended!

Great bluetooth audio receiver
I use this device hard wired in my front of house rack for my band. We use it to remotely connect to iPad via bluetooth and play house music before our set. Single 3.5mm Y cable with 2 1/4" male plugs right into 2 channels on my mixer (for Left and Right) and the connections were done except for the power. Nice length on the power cable, my only gripe is that it didn't come with the power brick (minus one star). I like that it's versatile with easy functionality. No latency that I could tell (or that would really matter). Item is pretty lightweight but feels sturdy, we'll see how well it holds up in the back of a tour rack. Hard mounted in my rack and connects across large stages and rooms (sometimes 50-100 feet away) and plays perfectly. It's great for my needs and sounds good. This unit however is simply a bluetooth RECEIVER, it DOES NOT TRANSMIT bluetooth. In this regard it works perfectly for me. Hope this helps.

wonderful addition to an older hifi system !
Save that old setup! I had been on the edge of thinking it was time to say goodbye to my trusty Technics receiver due to a lack of BT connection. We play a lot of records and CD's at our house, and love the sound of our current setup so the idea of losing my existing system, and replacing it with a bluetooth friendly stereo was not the route i wanted to go. But we were really wanting to add the ability to stream audio from our phones and laptops, so something had to change. This thing was a gamechanger. I'm sure super audio nerds will find something to fuss about, but honestly, for under $50, I find no issue. Plugs right into an empty RCA input (TV in my case), and i have it piggybacked off the receiver power supply, so turn the receiver on, and it's on. I'm sure there are "nicer" units out there that do this, but i'd be hard pressed to find one as easy on the wallet that performs as well. Been using it for a few weeks now, and no issue. Have never experienced connectivity issues, range is what it needs to me, i can be anywhere in my house, and signal never drops or crackles. Pairing new devices is simple and straightforward. Just remember to turn off bluetooth on a previously paired phone before pairing a new device, this thing locks on like a beast and as soon as it's on, it will, if possible immediately pair itself with the last device used. Nice for ease of use, a minor annoyance in a 2 phone household where we both like to stream to the stereo sometimes. There is a "3D sound" button, but connected my my setup, which includes Klipsh 5.1 speakers, all the button seems to do is make things louder and bassier, maybe it's more dynamic with a simple 2 speaker setup, don't know, don't care, its unnecessary for my use case, and has no bearing on the primary function which is what I came for. TL:DR. Great little unit, wallet friendly, small form factor, zero connectivity issues, and clear sound, big win for keeping your older hifi kicking.

Works great
Works great, easy to hook up and stream from phone. Clear sound. I’m not sure how good the $100+ ones sound, but this one is pretty good.

Stream to Your Stereo
Works perfectly to stream music and podcasts to my stereo. After I learned how podcasts stream in mono so you have to adjust the mode setting to mono on the stereo, everything is going swimmingly. Great value for the quality you get.

Would be very good, but cables provided cheap and defective
While this Bluetooth adapter is pretty good, a problem occurred that is odd and rare - the cables provided were out of phase! In other words, the wires on one of the RCA connectors were reversed. This results in an odd floating effect in the sound where there is no sound between the speakers - like the vocal. All sounds seem to come from one speaker or the other - there was no sound common to both. It gave me a headache. I discovered this while testing the speakers from an iOS app which can only connect via Bluetooth. While doing frequency sweeps the sound would move back and forth between speakers when it should have sounded like it was coming from a point between them. Also, the Yamaha YPAO feature on the receiver reported the speakers as out of phase, so it’s not just my old brain or ears. Granted, 1Mii didn’t make these cables - they were likely purchased from a vendor. Still, it’s a minor QA issue that ruins the whole product. Funny - while doing the testing, I also discovered that one of the tweeters on my NHT SuperOne speakers was wired out of phase - just the tweeter. Man, Chinese quality control seems to be an oxymoron. Otherwise, the 1Mii is pretty good. The connectivity is excellent. The audio quality, while somewhat “foggy”, is pleasant. Highs are a bit muted, but that’s no deal killer. Downsides are: 1. Low volume. I really had to trim up the input for the 1Mii - to +10. It’s still a bit lower than the other inputs on the receiver 2. The 1Mii is really aggressive and locks onto any Bluetooth device in the area without prompting. It may frustrate visitors and neighbors and suddenly play their streams on your system if it’s on and set to Bluetooth, so be aware. The upside of this is that it’s easy to switch between your Bluetooth devices/transmitters - just choose the B06+ and it will lock on. Downside is that anyone else can do it too. I switched out an older set of cables, so I’m good to go. I won’t be returning it as it does the job. Four stars for sound quality, Three stars overall due to crappy cables.

Alles bestens!
