What additional work is required to install in a home to protect a library with no door?

I used lock screws so they can't be reversed and screwed them right into the wall very easy

what hardware do you need to purchase to be able to install this?

What ever bolts or screws you plan using to attach the gate to the wall. I just large lag bolts and it works great. Also be away you need to be able to drill a 1/2 inch hole in the concrete for the gate to sit in.
