Smartish iPhone 15 Pro Max Case MagSafe, Gripzilla, Heavy Duty Grip, Black

This case is lightweight and VERY "gripable." Not at all slippery. Although it's slightly bulkier than the thinnest cases, it doesn't feel think. All the surfaces, edges, corners, front and back... have a nice, secure textured feel. All four corners are extra padded, and the edges are slightly raised on the screen side and around the camera slot, so neither the screen nor the lenses scrapes surfaces when the phone is laying flat. All the button controls on the case work flawlessly and easily; it's easy to feel which button is being pressed. And the speaker and USB-C ports are well recessed for protection. The magnetic charging system works perfectly; the case does not interfere with or diminish the charging function at all. If this case has a drawback, it's just that it's very "plain." There are alternative styles available, but the flashy designs are not for me. I'd prefer just to have a selection of "plain" colors to help my phone stand out when collected with others. Unfortunately, of course, the colored case completely hides the iPhone's own color and style, but that's a low priority compared to protection.

I can already tell you this new 17 pro max case is worth your purchase! It is the same quality if not better than before. I won’t buy another brands case. I might just a buy a few of these in more prints! The edges are perfect to protect the new screen design of the 17. It also has the raised rim for the camera and sensor area. The transparent design nicely showcases the color of the phone. It fits perfectly and is easy to hold. The camera button and other buttons are easy to use. I cannot recommend this case enough. The case for my 13 pro max tells you everything you need to know. The galaxy print gripzilla case is 4 years old. It’s the original case I bought for the 13 and I never had to replace it or my phone. Even have the original screen protector. I have very poor coordination and am horribly accident prone. Trust me that phone has met the ground many times from various heights and situations. Several times I thought it was for sure the end and it dusted right off. Case didn’t even show wear until the last year or so where the MagSafe ring is. I’ve used a MagSafe pop socket and charger since the beginning. If you’ve read this far, take this as your sign and order the case!

I LOVE this phone case! This is the best one I've ever bought & worth the price. It's durable & fits my iPhone 14 plus PERFECTLY. This case is durable, well built, easier to hold, & protects better than any I've owned. I ordered this in black, it's a bold colored black that doesn't smudge or fade. I never spend more than $20 on a phone case but after continued disappointments, I went the distance & ordered this one. I have NO regrets & will buy another one when it's time to buy another phone. Superb quality, durable, snug & perfect fit, & protects on a whole new level. A MUST buy!

Slicker than silicone type cases but has a textured finish and the finger grip indentations work well (female medium to large hands). Fits on phone well and does not obstruct charger/speakers. Slightly raised lip and reinforced corners- good balance of protection but not so bulky. I glued an Apple airtag onto back in case of loss and the phone battery drains before found or can be retrieved. A bit pricey but the MagSafe adds about $10. Mountain scene and colors are attractive.

This manufacturer offers two different cases with the poppy field-illustrated back. I selected the sturdier version because the slimmer, less sturdy option received some negative reviews for being flimsy. This one has a very secure feeling in my hand with its rougher outside texture. The protruding corner bumpers provide an additional level of protection. The complaint that the phone’s newly-added outside camera button seems vulnerable, because the case is cut out there, hasn’t been a problem for me, but I try to be mindful when picking up my phone to get a secure grip. It wasn’t difficult to add a screen protector and individual camera lens protectors to the camera. I added the screen protector before putting the case onto the phone and the camera lens protectors afterwards. One improvement that I would recommend to the manufacturer would be to make the front border color available in several more colors than just black, specifically blue, green, red, and gold. The camera has a very masculine look from the front, and that doesn’t really go with the floral back. The flower back is not likely to be used by men; other color options would give the case more feminine appeal. I would expect the case to last for the life of the phone which should be about three years. In that sense, it is a very good value for the money. As far as cleaning is concerned, if the case were to get dirty, I would wipe it with a slightly damp paper towel.

Our entire family use these iPhone cases. The protection and grip are great. I’ve dropped my phone many times on hard floors with never any damage at all. The case is a sort of hard rubber so it absorbs the hard impact. One case wore out after four years of daily use, but it’s been so good that I just ordered a new one. Fantastic product you will enjoy for years.

I am beyond impressed by the durability and protection that the Smartish iPhone 17 Pro Case MagSafe, Gripzilla, Heavy-Duty Grip, Black | Magnetic, Rugged protector provides. It fits securely, and the grip is perfect. While it does add weight, it's worth it to protect your phone. Easy to install, and the buttons work well. Good price. I highly recommend it.

Update: I'm five months short of the three-year mark of using this case, and it's still 100% functional and protective. There seem to be few products of any kind that you can say *that* about after almost three years. I definitely recommend this case. =-=-= Original review: This case is serving me well. I came from an OtterBox Defender case that I had on my iPhone XS Max, which set a pretty high bar for grippiness. This case is not grippy in the soft, rubbery way that the Defender was, but it is textured and shaped in such a way as to make it about as grippy as it could be while still being made out of the material it's made out of. And speaking of the material it's made out of, I fully expect that, because it's harder than the Defender case, it's going to hold up better than the Defender did. OtterBox struck a certain balance between durability and the soft kind of grippiness I was looking for when I bought this case, and the Defender did an outstanding job for a long time, but one day it just suddenly started giving up the ghost – I'd handle my phone and come away with black stuff all over my hands because the case was disintegrating. I'm thinking that what this case foregoes in soft rubberiness it will make up for in durability. The increased hardness probably also translates into greater shock to the phone if it's dropped, but iPhones can handle a lot (and I almost never drop my phone) so I'm not overly worried about that. All in all I think this is probably a solid choice for an iPhone case and I expect it will hold up and protect my phone very well. *Update, 14 months in* - I've grown very much accustomed to this case and its hardness, and it has protected my phone (I think I've dropped my phone once in these past 14 months). It looks nice in a simple kind of way, and is comfortable in the hand, with its little indentations for your fingers. Every indication I've gotten so far is that this case will last for at least as long as I have my phone, however long that may be: as yet it shows no sign of any kind of degradation, whether dent or ding or just sort of disintegrating like the OtterBox cases eventually did. I'm thinking that, even with its hard feel in the hand, this is the perfect phone case.

Only proper rugged option for iPhone 16 Pro Max. Bulky, expensive but good. It works perfectly with magsafe accessories, wireless charging and also builtin wireless car chargers.

Great case saved my screen many many times, if it was a little cheaper it would have been 5 stars.

Well, I just stumbled into this brand looking for a grippy case. It's been a good find. This is the more protective, grippier case. The slimmer variant is called the gripmunk. I'd love to try that one too but I'm not sure I want to spend more money to test it. Anyway, onto the review. This is a well designed, protective case. It has a solid polycarbonate back, some thin, rubberish lining (could be tpu) and thick tpu sides. It has little air bag pockets in the corners that should help with impact also. The side material is a lot firmer and harder than I expected, so I'm not completely sure how good the shock absorption is. The case is definitely sturdy though. The front screen lip is tall and wide but still fits my glass screen protector. The fit is nice and tight with no gaps. The material is firm all around so no issues with the edges lifting. The camera lip is also nice and tall but could fit closer to the camera bump. Seems like a bit too much space around the camera. Protection should be fine but it just doesn't look as well fitted. The case is advertised as grippy and it's quite good but not quite at the level of the older Speck grip cases (with the raised rubber grips). It has 3 finger grooves on each side that provide an ergonomic grip area. It really does function well. The sides and back are nicely textured but, as I mentioned before, the sides are fairly stiff and the back is polycarbonate so they are not as grippy as a softer or more rubberized surface. I've felt other cases with a slightly soft but grippy rubberized finish (NOT Speck) that would be nice here. That said, this case still provides good grip, even with dry hands. The buttons feel good and are raised for easy use by feel. The magsafe works well, my car mount is secure and the magsafe battery pack I use feels firm. So overall is a great case with no glaring flaws. It's not a slim case but seems more protective to me. It doesn't feel too big and the grip is good. All in all, I like it a lot.
