Houseplant Systemic Insect Control Granules, 8-oz.

Simply works for houseplants. I bought a bag of potting soil that was contaminated with fungus gnats and they populated my houseplants. This completely took care of the problem and now works great for prevention. Has not affected any of my plants negatively in any way, like some chemical insecticides may. I love the ease of application: you just spread some granules into a pot and you’re done. No need to spray and inhale anything toxic. I just had to be careful not to apply anywhere where the plants are located close to where food is being prepared. I keep reordering this. Good stuff.

I first want to start off by saying, if your plants are lucky enough to not ever get fungus gnats, you are lucky! If you find yourself looking for something to rid your plants of the pesky little gnats-you will want to keep this on hand. If you bring a plant in with gnats, you will forever have them. Believe me, it's a sad day.I do wish this was a full bottle, as it feels as if the bottle is big for the amount of stuff that comes in it-but you will be thankful you have it. I keep it on hand. Your plants will thank you. It is the one thing I find that keeps the gnats at bay, trust me, you will want to make sure you have this to treat your plants.I only water my plants at the bottom, so it's a little tricky, but worth it! I highly recommend this! It's the one way to make sure you get those pesky gnat eggs. You won't get them all-and you will need to keep treating your soil frequently to make sure you keep 'treating' them.If you adopt plants from the store like I do, make sure that you treat the soil before you bring it in your house to meet your plants. Most all store plants have gnats-I had no idea, and it only takes one to infest all of your plants. Good luck!

I've used this product for years and it is absolutely the only thing the really works--and lasts--against fungus gnats. Because I moved to a new town and didn't know where to get it, I was happy to find it on Amazon. And unhappy to find that Bonide has now done what so many do but what is deceptive as well as wasteful: it sells the product in a bottle that is more than twice the size needed for the amount of product (there is no "settled in shipping" argument for this product. When I bought the Bonide granules in a garden store, the container was full to the brim. Buying from Amazon, there wasn't enough in the bottle to treat all of my plants at once. This of course reduces effectiveness of the treatment. So... buy it because it is good. Beware because there's not as much as you expect in the bottle.

I tried this it after moving house and introducing some new soil and plants to the house. 🥴 The little beads inside are super tiny and spread around well in my plants. It's been a few weeks since treatment and nothing on the sticky traps is any of my plants (looks like good longevity so far). Hallelujah! I can't use it on my indoor herbs but so far these other plants have been perfect! It seems to be a good value and quality product for the money and will continue to treat as long as needed to ensure the bug control stays this good.

I was dealing with a stubborn fungus gnat problem in my houseplants, and this product worked like a charm. After just one application of the systemic insect control granules, the gnats, and more importantly, their larvae were gone.It’s super easy to use — just sprinkle it into the soil and water as usual. DO this every 2 months and whenever you get a new plant an you will be good. I didn’t have to deal with any strong smells or messy sprays, and my plants didn’t show any signs of stress.If you're fighting off gnats or other pests, I highly recommend giving this a try. Total game-changer!

The size of the bottle is way larger than needed for the amount of product inside so it's a bit misleading, I feel. I bought this product to control mealie bugs on my plants. I've seen a slight reduction but they're not completely gone. My hope is that it will just take time.

I bought this to treat soft scale on one of my plants. It was infected from the time I bought it, and nothing I tried worked on killing the scale, without harming the plant in turn. I am really happy with this product though because it killed the scale and didn't cause the plant [desert rose] to lose a ton of leaves in the process. If you have a soft scale problem, this stuff will get rid of them!

Fungus gnats are the worse! Tried mosquito granules, sticky yellow tape, root wash, drying soil to point of killing my plants. Nothing worked! Till I got this. Sprinkled this on the top dry soil of my plants, worked it in and watered. Gnats are gone! I still use sticky yellow paper they sell here on Amazon to monitor for gnats. It’s been over a month and they are gone!! Let the plants dry out pretty good between waterings also help to keep gnats under control. But this saved my plants and my sanity 😊

2 weeks after application the aphids are still feasting on my plants, I applied on the soil based on the instructions and it did nothing…

The inner seal of the bottle was open. Not sure if its a genuine product or just sand is filled in. The quantity in the bottle is half.
