SmallRig Weight-Reducing Gimbal Shoulder Strap, with Upgraded QD Buckles

Saying game changer sounds like it would be cliche, but for the cost of this strap and what it does...it really is a game changer. I video South Asian weddings for a work (Indian and Pakistani weddings along with Muslim weddings), so it can be hours of shooting poojas and other events. This strap really changed my workflow as before hand you would hold the gimbal for some dramatic shots, then put it down to check the other cameras before eventually picking up the gimbal again. Depending on where you put down the gimbal you might not be ready if all of sudden you need to run outside to cover a quick ceremony outside. This strap really makes it easy to have the gimbal on you at all times, and paired with the Ronin's R3 autolock feature, it's super nice and quick to put away and deploy. The material of the strap is great. The nylon is comfortable, the metal on the quick release is nice and smooth, and the build quality is outstanding. The only nit picky thing I would say is it would be nice if black was an option, as the gray is noticeable on our wedding day attire. It's far from horrible, it's gray so it's not jarring, but having a straight black stealth version of the strap would be outstanding. Installation of the strap is also very easy, as everything is provided for you. There is an attachment that connects to your battery so heads up there if you use multiple batteries, you will have to remove it every time unless you have a attachment for each battery. I use the newly released SmallRig wrist rest and it also has the QR port on it. Overall this product is a game changer, at least for me. I didn't want to wear one of those weird gimbal rest belts that make you look a little happy in the pants, so this was a wonderful alternative. SmallRig is always aware of delivering really good quality at a very reasonable price and this strap is in that ball park. It's very reasonably price and it's really good quality. Don't hesitate if you are looking at this, just buy it, it's worth it.

What a back saver! Fantastic quality and it really helped out on an eight hour video shoot.

Versatile and saves time.

I give it four stars because it’s well built and connects perfectly to my gimbal. Just haven’t tested it out enough to recommend. For resting your camera and gimbal on your body this works great. For assisting with extra support and stabilization while taking a shot, I’m just not there yet. Maybe I’ll come back and update.

Alert! Does NOT fit DJI RS 5 Battery Grip. The RS 5 Grip has a larger footprint. Works great on the RS 4/4Pro and RS 3.

PERFECT for when you have a longer shoot and you need to rest/give your arms a break (and you're more static). LOVE the quick-release (& still secure) aspect of this guy. Mounts stay on (& are flexible for different DJI systems, super cool + thoughtful - as all smallrig stuff is) 100% on-brand for quality, cost-effectiveness and utility value. Grab it, your only regret is you didn't have this sooner ;)

All fine

Does not work with the RS5 briefcase handle. The pin spacing on the upper mount is too small.

This new version is cheap and horrible, it can’t compare to the older version! Smallrig should drop this scandal immediately!

ممتاز جداً وعملي ومفيد جدا في الايفنت الطويل

At first there are some components missing when I received the product but the customer support was very helpful and arranged a replacement
