These are rock solid glasses that are built to endure - and feel like it. Each one weighs nearly 350g and holds 330ml if you brim it. They are not the last word in style statements, but they'll stand up to life in a dishwasher and have enough capacity for a very generous gin and tonic with a lot of ice. There's just one drawback: if you wash them by hand, the shape makes it easy for them to slip out of your soapy hands when you hold them upside-down - and each one is so heavy it could crack your Auntie's Ming vase if it's underneath. The upside is that, when they're the right way up - and unlike those dreadful glasses that bulge in the middle like barrels - these glasses are almost impossible to drop once you're on your nth large G&T.
