Is the paintwork an issue? It seems like there's alot of complaints about it.

I don't have any complaint about the paintwork. It is a well-made product.

Does this one have the silver nose?

The new batch has a flesh colored nose now.

this is the old version with painted nose right? $17 is old version fine?

The steel nose old version is $100+ dollars on the collectible market. Everything being sold here now is the new 2023 release with the tan nose.
