I have heel spurs and even though I have to wear cushions in all of my shoes, I needed something extra for when my heel spurs flare up. This product is perfect for that. I'm surprised at how comfortable they are to wear. The bottom has enough cushion to protect and sooth the spur, but not so thick that my shoes are too tight. The upper portion is thin, soft and comfortable. I have worn both inside and outside a sock, and both work well. If I wear them without a sock, I do feel a minor irritation from the the velcroed area at the end of the day. But it is minor, and for 95% of the day I did not feel any irritation. I am so happy I ordered these!

I’ve tried a few different inserts, but these Welnove gel heel protectors are what I’ve been using lately. How they actually feel The first thing you notice is the gel. It’s thick enough to actually absorb the impact when your heel hits the pavement, which is a lifesaver if you spend a lot of time on your feet. Unlike those hard plastic cups, these are soft and have a bit of a "squish" to them. They come with an adjustable strap, which is great because you can actually get them to stay on your bare feet or over socks. The Practical Stuff I’ve found these are best for around the house. If you’re like me and have hardwood or tile floors, walking barefoot is basically a no-go with heel spurs. I slip these on right when I wake up, and it takes that "stepping on glass" feeling away immediately. When it comes to shoes, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. They fit fine in my looser sneakers and my travel boots, but if you have sleek, narrow dress shoes or tight-fitting loafers, forget about it. They add enough bulk that your shoes will feel tight. One tip: give it a few days. The first time I wore them, the arch felt a little weird, but after about three days, they kind of molded to my foot and felt way more natural. Pros: Real Pain Relief: They definitely take the edge off plantar fasciitis and heel spurs. Breathability: The little air holes actually work. My feet don’t get as sweaty as they do with the solid silicone versions, which is a big deal in the Florida heat. Versatile: You can wear them without shoes, which is how I use them most. Washable: I just hand wash them with a little soap and let them air dry; they’ve held up well so far. Cons: Bulkiness: They aren't "invisible." You’ll feel them in your shoes, and they might make some of your tighter footwear feel too cramped. Durability: While the fabric is skin-friendly, the velcro can start to lose its "stick" after a couple of months if you’re pulling it on and off constantly. Sizing: I got the Large (I’m a men's 10), and they fit well, but if you're at the very top of the size range, the strap might feel a bit short. Value for Money For under $20, it’s a solid investment. You get a pair that you can move between shoes, and honestly, if it saves me from one afternoon of limping around a terminal, it’s paid for itself. They aren’t a permanent "cure," and I’ll probably need to replace them every 3–4 months with how much I walk, but for the price, they do exactly what they claim to do.

The heel cups are comfortable in slippers and just over gripper socks. There is some challenge with bulkiness inside shoes that have a close fit across the top of the foot. The velcro straps make sizing adjustable, easy to use, and they stay in place inside your shoe. The heel cups seem to be very durable and are slip resistant.

I ran a half-marathon 2 weeks ago, without these cups, and I couldn't walk for days due to my heel spur. I ordered these and have been wearing them since. I ran another half-marathon today and I was able to walk after the race. My spur still hurts but these have been awesome in minimizing the pain. Runners usually get shoes a half size larger so these worked great and they also work really well with my flip flops. They are snug when I wear my regular shoes. I also tried some of the rubber inserts, but they didn't work at all for me. I will be purchasing these cups again!!

I have never put something on time I got it, but I did with these and am so glad I did. I know I have planters fascitis and have gel wraps for them , I feel I am getting heel spurs as well. I felt immediate comfort and relief when I put these on, I am definitely going to have to order one or two more pairs

Good product and very helpful for that pain on my heel!! Just keep in mind that if you wear it with shoes on the top part where the velcro is becomes kinda bulky so you might feel your shoe tighter than usual. Another thing I noticed is that there are no bigger sizes so if you have a wider foot it won't close all the way so it will be to tight and to be honest I'm not sure if this product should be worn with or without socks but I tried without socks and I can feel the velcro rubbing my skin cause my foot is not that slim so the velcro is actually touching my skin and without socks is definitely painful so keep that in mind!

Just received these heel protectors and they make such a huge difference. I am on a cancer drug that is all of a sudden causing deep heel cracks, making it painful to walk. I ordered this pair and another brand that was a pull on, rather than having a Velcro strap. The pull on type were so difficult to put on and too tight. These Welnove heel protectors go on so easily with the Velcro strap and have a very supportive gel heel. I wear these with flip flops and they work perfectly. If you were to wear them with closed shoes you would definitely need larger size shoes as they do take up some space. But for wearing with flip flops, socks, backless slippers or barefoot, these are the bees’ knees! Side note, you can apply your urea cream with these and it works perfectly! Also, for me at least, these heel protectors make my arches feel much better! I am ordering another pair to have as backup. I had no idea cracked heels could be do very painful. These really, really help!

Effective for my purpose - need shoehorn to put on my sneakers. Only shoe I can wear with these, hence the 4 stars. The Gel Heel Protector is the most decent for me. It straps on easily and they're adjustable. I can wear them easily and comfortably with my slippers because they are slip-ons. Sneakers need open laces and a shoe horn to get them on. I still feel heel pain but these are much better shock absorbers. There are also special tape strips (a whole different product) that I've heard are very good, but they take some time to apply to the foot and you must be careful if you're prone to contact dermatitis. Diese Gel-Fersenschalen, sind angenehm zu tragen, kein drücken,angenehm beim Laufen, schmerzlindernd da sehr gute Entlastung. In Schuhen ist es schlecht zu tragen, da trage ich einfache Gel-Einlagen, zu Hause trage ich den Fersenschutz aber immer. Seit dem keine Schmerzen mehr im Fuß und Knie.
