Just what I needed
As an RV and horse trailer owner, I had never noticed the specialty bit. That is, until my driveway was strewn with awning replacement pieces laid out and ready to go with no bit to actually get started. After a quick trip desperately searching for these in every local store around and having no luck, these were delivered quickly and a project lifesaver. A must have for trailer owners!

Perfect for cargo trailers

These are rock-solid
YAY!!! Was trying to unscrew couple 8 point-lobe screws from an old piece of furniture I am refinishing, with the toolant 8 point-star bits. It was sooo bad, had to try heat to the screws, WD-40 and all that, and the screws couldn't move - very frustrating. Then my package, THIS ONE, arrived! I touched the no-1 bit and I KNEW these are rock-solid and will do the job. TADA - 10 minutes and all 74 8 point-lobe screws are out. Once more: When you work, get the right tools: these ones for 8 point point screws. 10 stars! Toolant might just see the garbage can.

Local hardware stores only carry 1 size 8 point security screw heads. Unfortunately the in-store heads are too big for my needs. This set had the size I needed.
