but this OLED!
If you are a PC gamer looking for that new display/monitor upgrade, just BUY this OLED display! dont even consider wasting your time or money on cheaper IPS!! for general desktop use it doesn't look much different to to IPS screens tbh. BUT, once you have your GAMES loaded up, they look absolutely Excellent! so SHARP! so CLEAR! so much juicy vibrant COLOR! ALSO, you can emulate 24 inch screens by setting the resolution un-scaled in nvidia control panel and then choosing 1080p resolution! so you got options if 27 inch is abit too big for you! i actually play 1080 by 1440p! looks stunning! this is the cheapest OLED you can buy and its top quality! if you are a PC gamer, you absolute owe it to your video GAMES to be displayed in the BEST way possible! finally, when u get the monitor, make sure the first thing u do is adjust the settings to make the display look its best!

Rating to bump the review up.
I'm upgrading from a 1080p 144hertz monitor to this... So for me it feels like I'm on a whole new universe. Colours are the best I've seen so far on a monitor, HDR is beautiful for games that support it, blacks are deep and crispy Refresh rate makes me game on buttery smooth goodness, playing valorant on this was CRAZY Stable and strong build quality Honestly, 3rd gen oled at this price with these specs and colour gammut Is fabulous 👌

Very solid entry-level OLED option.
I need not remind you of all the benefits of OLED if you’ve made it this far into the buying process. Let’s talk about the unique quirks and features this monitor has. Firstly, the design. While I use my monitor on a monitor arm, the stand is the first thing that will catch your eye (potentially not in a good way). The asymmetrical design does have some logic to it, but it makes the monitor more difficult to use and get lined up using the stand as a reference. This asymmetrical design extends to the back too. It is definitely different, but different isn’t necessarily good. With that said, the lighting on the back of the monitor is semi-effective and can be seen against my wall. However, the monitor ambient lighting does get drowned out by my cheap Govee-based cove lighting solution so don’t expect too much. The OSD is fine, has some basic OLED protection features (useful as I use this for work as a secondary use case). On the burn-in front, I have clocked up about 400 hours in my first two months of mixed use, and I am yet to see any noticeable signs of burn-in, even on test slides. I do run my monitor at reduced brightness for work use however, so your mileage may vary. The motion clarity is incredible with the 240Hz refresh rate and 0.5ish ms average response time. Not a lot to be said there, we know OLED is the best currently available panel technology for gaming and motion rendering (outside of niche esports displays with backlight strobing). I don’t recall receiving a colour calibration report with this monitor. This is slightly disappointing consider in my 45” AOC OLED did get a factory calibration, but for the price compromises need to be made. Briefly mentioning VESA mounting and monitor arms, this monitor is relatively light for its 27” size and can likely be used with most monitor arms. I use mine on a heavy duty arm since I used to use an ultrawide, but this isn’t necessary if you are on a budget. Text clarity is very poor in windows for a 1440p display as this appears to be using the old generation WOLED panel, which has an RWBG layout. For those not aware, windows does not play very nicely with any sub pixel layouts other than RGB or BGR (and their variations like RGWB in the latest WOLED panels). This is on Microsoft to fix as macOS works fine with this sub pixel layout. Overall, for the price I paid and the price I usually see this for, this is an outstanding deal!

Avoid - OLED panels aren't appropriate for 1440p yet if you plan to ever read any text.
Going from a nice high end IPS panel to this one: Positives: - Colour reproduction and 'real' blacks are superb, as you'd expect from an OLED panel. - Motion blur effectively non-existent. Negatives: - Text fringing is massively problematic on this panel with this subpixel layout and resolution, ESPECIALLY if you're forced to use Windows. It's more tolerable on a Mac, but still doesn't look great. Unless you ONLY ever play games or watch films then I'd suggest that this is a deal breaker for this monitor. I honestly couldn't use it for more than an hour or so with any form of text before starting to get a headache. The 'workarounds' in Windows such as setting grayscale anti-aliasing or using MacType don't really work. - Brightness is just 'OK' but noticeably worse than a good modern IPS panel. This is especially a problem if you turn on the 'Uniform Brightness' setting to avoid the annoying brightness changes based on how much white is on the screen at any given time and will make the monitor noticeably dimmer. - This monitor exhibits quite nasty VRR flicker, and it doesn't just happen when you take massive framerate swings. It has a tendency to happen quite regularly within quite a wide framerate range (roughly 80 - 160 FPS).In general you can get by without having GSync or Freesync enabled with a panel like this with such a high refresh rate (I couldn't really tell the difference) , but I'd largely consider VRR to be unusable on this panel. TLDR: I would strongly advise that you avoid this monitor unless you ONLY play games and watch films and essentially never read any text, and even then, it's got some pretty big compromises with VRR flicker and poor brightness. Avoid. It seems to me that 1440p OLED panels fundamentally aren't there yet with their current subpixel layouts.

Great
This monitor doesn't have the best reputation but I turned uniform brightness off and it is much brighter! With uniform brightness on I do find it a bit dark.

Display continuosly turning off
Cannot transition anything across this monitor from either my other 2xAOC monitors on either side of this one. Repetitive warnings of all kinds leading up to the monitor automatically shutting down. So if I'm in a game I lose the screen. Settings are too many and too complicated and I have no idea what most of them are for or what they mean. A simple monitor should be exactly that "simple" Even the reset option in extras does not in fact reset the whole monitor. The graphics are amazing, but the problems severely outweigh the benefits of this monitor. I shall be sending it back for a refund

Tip Top Monitor. Hammermäßiges, gestochen scharfes Bild. Mein Sohn liebt ihn.
