I think I might have found the issue that all of these reviewers are having, where their sandwich doesn't brown properly. You have to make sure that the oil/butter/etc. that you coat the plates with is hot BEFORE you put your sandwich on!! Cool oil will always just soak into whatever you're cooking it with and get all soggy; it's not a flaw of the product, it's cooking technique. This applies to coating the sandwich with butter/etc.; coat the plates, let them sit a little, THEN put the sandwich/whatever it is you'd like on.That being said!—Grill is VERY good for paninis, as shown above!!—I haven't tried the waffle iron yet, but can't imagine I'll have any issues given how well the grill works—A couple of negatives: closure is a little flimsy so don't overstuff it TOO much; it's also a pain to clean if you get stuff down in the crevices. Also, you do have to watch it (it won't shut off when finished), so be sure to set a timer. HOWEVER, I didn't knock off any stars for these because the first two aren't an issue when handling it properly, and the third doesn't bother me because at this price point, for it to do the rest of everything super well is all I could ask. Just make sure to treat it well and you won't have problems. :)

I've only used the grittle, pork loin... delicious. Can't wait to use the other attachments. The plates are kinda thin but cooked well. They are easily changed and we're super easy to clean. The only thing that I miss with this is a flat grill for pancakes. Great product and price. I'll be buying another one for my grandkids and son. Was gonna give it a 4.5 but after eating my juicy pork loin, it deserves a 5.

Like others had mentioned in their reviews, I find that the top plate does not get as hot as the bottom. This leads to uneven waffles, but I find they still cook all the way. The resulting waffle is decent, but by no means is it top quality. If you're looking for the perfect waffle, this just won't cut it. It is saved by the removable plates, which are rare at this price point. This makes clean-up much easier, and makes me much more willing to make waffles now. If you aren't picky about how done your waffles are and want an easy to clean machine, this is a good choice.You also get a sandwich plate and a grill plate. While the sandwich plate worked okay, it wasn't any easier than a standard grilled cheese and given the temperature issues on the top plate, I wouldn't cook meat with the grill plates.

If I could do zero stars I would. Got this waffle maker today and tried it out for brinner tonight. To say using this thing was a huge disappointment is an understatement. I left the batter in the waffle maker for over 12 minutes and it barely got to a golden yellow color. If I left batter in one of those spin waffle makers for 12 minutes my house would burn down. Then I noticed it does not seal in the back at the hinge so any and all minor excess spilled all out the back and into the heating cable that connects to the heating element on the top.Cleaning it was horrendous. Too many nooks and crannies for anything to get into. If you want a waffle maker, this is not it. Look elsewhere please, for your sake.

I bought this for the grilled cheese sandwhiches and it has perfect ones done in 5 minutes. Easy to use and I love that it has different plates for waffles or a tiny grill thing.

So I have celiac disease and didn’t find out about it until I was an adult.. needless to say, with that diagnosis you need almost everything replaced because gluten gets stuck in EVERYTHING! I was so excited when I came across this because now I can make paninis, waffles, grilled cheese and whatever I want with this convenient guy! I was so happy with my first panini let me tell you. It was crispy on the outside and delicious. This is also very easy to clean which is a blessing. Easy to store too which is a must always. Highly recommend!

This is great for making just about anything you can make on a barbecue. We have used it for steaks bacon wings etc. Also having different parts to change what it is you are making. You get grill you get a grilled cheese maker and you also get a waffle maker. It has definitely come in handy on those rainy summer days where we wanted to barbecue. I personally recommend this.

Yes it takes a while to make crepes.Yes they’re not as crispy as the professional ones.But they’re much appreciated, the whole thing is easy to clean, and the sandwich press is very useful as well.If you want crisp, head for the 1000W ones, if you want under 100$ appliance head for this one !
