Quality product. The fabric is thick and the seams are sewn well. I used it as a vertical screen on the porch of my log cabin in NW Montana. I used screws and washers to secure it through the metal grommets to the logs. It didn't seem like 90% blockage but it blocks the worst of the afternoon sun. It cooled my porch several degrees and the shade made it much more comfortable to enjoy. It also provided privacy, which was really nice since the neighbors drive by all summer. I only had it up for a couple of months and took it down for the winter so I can't attest to its longevity or direct exposure to 100+ degree temps in sunnier climates.

We have a big pergola in our backyard, but during the afternoon when the sun is blazing we have no shade and absolutely roast. This shade completely eliminates that problem and now it's totally shady and a lot cooler under the pergola. As a huge bonus, it's breathable and allows some wind to go through. Also really easy to put up as a 1 person job- the material is light and they give you a couple of options to hang it with (bungee cord, rope, and zip ties). Can't recommend this enough, it solved our problem completely.

This was a HUGE A+. I am 100% pleased with the product. I had to remove a 10 year old cover (canvas/screening) from it's metal frame that was on my deck. I thought getting a new cover to fit would be too expensive and I would just have to remove and discard the perfectly good metal frame. I bought this cover not sure how it would look or if I'd be able to install it. It arrived, packaged with 3 different types of fasteners and I and my daughter were able to quickly install it onto the old frame. It looks fantastic! The choice of color enabled me to choose a color that matched the frame, and it provides light shade to my very sunny deck. It's already been through 2 very significant storms. Fasteners are holding, and the cover looks great. Considering the low price and the speedy delivery I feel Like I've hit home run with this purchase. Highly recommend.

I’ve purchased these before (different color) so knew they keep the sun out well while allowing for air to come through. However, these are quite stiff, seem to be more ‘painted’ vs dyed for color, and didn’t come with good bungees (ball bungees are the way to go - these don’t stay together and break easily - hurt big time when the ends come off and you get snapped, which happened a couple times just trying to stretch them). We are having to use the ties. A bit of a downfall in quality though the prices didn’t reflect that, of course.

I can't believe how many sizes and options were available. Ended up being a perfect fit and have held up well for the last few months providing the shade and privacy I was lacking.

Extremely well-made from a quality material. It is standing up to our very strong winds here. The three different kinds of ties made installation so easy. The material is thick and keeps out all of the harmful UV rays here in the desert. I used it on the lattice on the carport and it gives much-needed shade for our very hot summers. Loved it so much, I bought two more in different sizes. Just wish that custom size could be an option.

I have ordered several sun shades over the last year and this is by far the nicest. Unfortunately, I measured an area incorrectly where I had planned to use this to protect young seedling trees. Not the seller's fault so I will not attempt to Rebox it and send it back and I will find a use for it at a later date. But it is made properly and is durable, attractive, and strong with multiple attachments options. Buy with confidence

While this sunshade is helping us keep the northern rains from blowing in and drenching our patio, it’s also blocking the breeze that we usually get from the north. I have a patio cover that I didn’t want to have to drill holes in for the shade. I bought this thinking I could clip it to the end and provide privacy and a weather deterrent. It’s pretty heavy duty. And can be used long or short depending on your area. I finally broke down and attached it to some light poles that I purchased since the wind kept blowing it off the adhesive hooks that I purchased. Since wind cannot blow through all the little holes it was like an “umbrella” trying to blow away. It works for the rains. Definitely hero’s water out. It helps with the bugs too. But we must use our outdoor fans now if we want a breeze.
