Love these gray color quick sticks, I use 2 to 3 colors as I have frosted brunette hair, and they cover grey perfectly and no one ever knows there is gray around my facial area. Just draw the stripes in around my face = it blends wonderfully. Update: Thought I'd post photos showing these Gray Away Color sticks are so easy and impressive, and the first photo is a winter photo, I live in the Florida Keys, and the topknot photo just shows a little of my back underneath brunette hair as most of it is my blonde frosting heavier around the face in the summer. I do brush on a Roux Fanciful "Spun Sand" temporary rinse, purchased from Amazon and I'll post this there too) - but it makes the hair ALL one/same color which does not look natural compared to the rest of my hair needing me to apply my Gray Away streaks to match the rest of my hair and it's super easy (doesn't even take 5 minutes!), like hand coloring, and use 3 colors: Black to dark brown; Light brown (which is a little reddish) and Lightest Brown/Medium Blonde, the latter of which I use to cover most of the starting point hair where the gray hair is just emerging from the follicle at the nearest edge to the face. I'll try to remember to take a photo of my gray starting point, because I've got a good 1 1/2" - 2" of SOLID WHITE hair at my facial hairline that just disappears with these products - as you can see in the two photos. Update: Added photo progression in addition to normal hairstyle photo, topknot photo with Spun Sand Fanciful base and color sticks applied, gray hair starting point, just Spun Sand rinse applied, final photo current hair with gray treatment complete

I purchased this in Lightest Brown/Medium Blonde. Brown would have probably been a better color for my roots but, because I am only trying to cover greys, I would rather have it too light than too dark. I was a little worried when this arrived because the box looked like it had been ravaged by a pack of wolves. I was sure the stick itself would be damaged but it was not. This is very easy to use and it is not messy to apply. If you are unsure, it is basically like a soft crayon or artist's soft pastels for your hair. I use it at my temples so I pull the hair away from my scalp and rub this on then use the blender to kind of push it around a bit and even it out. It is only a temporary color and does wash out. I am not sure how water-resistant it is for activities like swimming or when sweating but it stays on very well during my regular day. I would definitely purchase this again.

Covers roots easily

This product is excellent. It performs exactly as advertised. Very natural looking, easy to handle, extremely convenient. Beneficial for your hair, as you need to color your hair less frequently! Excellent for the gray/white hairs around your temples. The only caveat is to try to avoid touching your hair after application, as the color may transfer. Washes out easily after one shampoo.

Too difficult to apply-product is not creamy enough. Lightest color is too dark and reddish . I will go back to spray .

Should have read the directions before purchasing it. The directions are to place the stick directly onto hair. My hair on the top of my head is so thin from chemo, there's no hair to rub it on. The spray is much better for my needs. Planning to return it.

With Covid-19 restrictions I am not able to go to the salon for a touchup. I never knew I had so much gray hair coming in. I don't have the skill to do my own touchup with dye. I have medium blonde hair with light blonde highlights and some lowlights. This product, Medium Blonde to Lightest Brown, was a perfect color match. I read a couple of negative reviews and decided the problem must be in the application. Here's what I do--I take a small swatch of hair, hold it out straight away from my head and draw the color on like using a crayon on paper. It glides on smoothly and the color only goes where I want it to go. It looks beautiful! Like natural highlights. Thank you Amazon for this affordable solution to covering gray outgrowth. I will use this product even when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted. It will make expensive trips to the salon less necessary and also less exposure to toxic chemicals from hair dye. I love, love, love this root touchup crayon, and my Min Pin is proud to go out on his walks with me again--he thinks I look younger.

Bought this after seeing it recommended in a magazine. I found it useless - like trying to colour your hair with a crayon. I saw a recommendation to use this to cover up a shiny scalp if you have thin hair, but there’s no way you could apply this consistently to the scalp, it would just give odd patches.

Si cumple su objetivo, es muy práctico!, buen producto, no deja sensación del cabello apelmazado o sensación grasosa como otros.

Me gustó mucho la textura y que efectivamente te cubre súper bien el crecimiento así como las canas, pero me gustaría lo sacaran en un tono más claro ya que soy muy rubia y qué el producto viniera con mayor cantidad creo es poco para lo que te alcanza para utilizar. Espero lo pudieran sacar en Tono más claro pero sí muy buen producto👍🏼
