Easy repair to our sink
Housebuilders love these because they're easy to fit. They do fail eventually, and smells come up. If these last 10 years, like the originals, I'll be very happy.

Unusual fitment size not in local merchants
Very good. This was an unusual fitment and no local merchants stocked it. Better still it came next day on a Sunday.

Fine for short term, but avoid if you can
Lasted 7 years, but eventually failed. One of these was installed in my flat from new, and worked fine. Eventually it got blocked, but after clearing the blockage it never sealed properly again and gave horrid smells despite my best attempts to fix. Replaced with a bottle trap, no problems since, but cost me an afternoons work! If you have the space for a bottle trap, I'd do that instead, as you'll save yourself a headache in a few years time!

Didn't work for us
I had so much hope for this product although my husband wasn't convinced, and he was right. It hasn't made the slightest difference to the smelly cloakroom sink. Unfortunately.
