These are well made plates that handle being used in a microwave or dishwasher with no problems. Keep in mind that the sizes are irregular, meaning that the plates are not perfectly round, but could be slightly oval or elongated. This adds to the rustic charm as all of the plates are roughly 10.5" in diameter - just don't expect perfectly round plates. The glaze that is used adds to the beauty - it has a nice blue color and is great for everyday use. The plates arrived well packaged with no chips or scratches and they have a nice heft to them. I am very pleased with this purchase

Great plates. I have used for a week, seem really solid without being heavy. Perfect for everyday. There are very slight imperfections on the glaze on the sides, I mean small dots, but that is expected in hand dipped pottery if you have every made it. They are not noticeable really or distract from the plate. I ordered the cappuccino which is true to color. No breaks in delivery as they are packed outstandingly. You would have to do serious tossing with the box to break the plates. I looked long and hard for plates and if you are considering these, hit buy. They are what is described.

These plates are beautiful and unique. They are a great size and shape to hold food. They have an edge that keeps the food from sliding off. They do well in the microwave, and in the dishwasher. I bought the Ceylon blue and liked them so much I bought another set of the Heather green. I am highly pleased with both, and they go well together. These are a very good value. They came packed securely, with care to keep them intact in transit.

I ordered the light green plates. I just received them today and they are beautiful! They seem sturdy and I love the rustic, irregular shape. But as you can see in the photo, one plate is lighter in color and it's also significantly heavier. I purchased a set of six and five of them are like the plate on the left, darker in color and lighter in weight. But the one on the right is actually a much nicer quality and I would have preferred if the whole set matched that one. I weighed each of them and the five darker plates are about a quarter pound lighter than the plate on the right even though they're the same size. I can definitely feel the difference in weight and quality when I pick each of them up, but they all have the same stamp on the back. I'm not sure if this is a problem with Armorarc or the seller, but now I have to decide if it's worth returning just because one plate doesn't match (it's extra frustrating that the one that doesn't match is much sturdier and better quality). And if I exchange them there's no guarantee that another set won't have the same issue with mixed quality. Generally the plates are great, just be aware of possible lack of quality control.

I really like these, and the whimsy of the subtly irregular shape tickles me. These are a neutral mushroom sort of color, and the perfect size for a small meal. I might get some white ones also.

They look very artisanal with delightful imperfections and color variations, the way reactive glaze is supposed to be. I was looking for a brown rim to coordinate with my Cost Plus World Market plates, and these work nicely.

These ceramic plates are lovely They are well made dishwasher safe as well. The salad plates are not round oddly shaped in a good way. I really love them

Muy bonitos, todos llegaron en buen estado, el empaque es excelente. los platos tienen una muy ligera variación de tonos entre ellos, pero en cada juego de 6 platos que compré de color azul océano, llegó uno de un color notablemente mas claro, al parecer es otro tono de azul. Pero son muy bonitos platos y el empaque es muy bueno, no vale la pena reclamarlo.
