Posey 2811 Peek-A-Boo Mitts

These are the only real double padded mitts I have been able to find for an individual who has self abusive behaviors in out group home. They actually stay on and are very protective.

I love these, my great aunt is 98 yrs young with dementia. She hits and punches at times. These mitts are so soft and fluffy.

This product could use more filling, but works well.

Gloves fit wonderfully, and protect as expected

I have worn posey peek a boo mittens for years. They look feel and have a tag says they are. I was in hospital got a few pairs for my seizures. Had no issues with those. Now these pairs on amazon would make my palms itch. Got me thinking why does ones from hospital not and these do? Took older one I bought on amazon cut it open. Filler is some odd material..... real poseys have cotten matting. So took this to a sewing shop. She told me the material is not made to be in contact with skin decoration type material for sewing very cheap matting material. We cut this brand new one open since hospital gave me 3 new pairs same thing.... tool older posey mitten 4 months old from hospital and it has cotton fluff inside. These are being sold on here cause they can not to medical places like hospitals for this reason. Figured you may want to know this before you put a loved one in them or you wonder why your palms itch. Filler is not intended for human skin contact. I figured these where posey mittens like stated and the hospital explained this happens a lot. These are RX only items and they need a doctor's prescription so fact you are buying them on amazon should be a red flag to start with. I learned my leason the hard way. Don't make my mistake if you really care about your wellbeing or your loved ones health!
