WaxCast Professional Casting Resin 500mL

A few comments on this evil slime called “Wax Cast”. No documentation on your web site, none on the bottle, and tech support is MIA. No luck getting the print to stick to the build plate, or to release from the FEP film. Five days tinkering with this abomination of a resin. A From 2 to 10 base layers, no luck. Five variables. B From 50 microns to 10, zilch. Five variables. C Base layer exposure from 20 seconds to 80, nothing but an oily mess. Four variables. D Layer exposure from 4 seconds to 40, nothing in abundance. Seven variables. E Base plate coated with 1 to 4 coats of resin, let dry 7 minutes after coat, cure for 12 minutes under UV. And still no luck. 4 variables. F New FEP film - because nothing else worked, so why should new film? Fail. 2 variables. I’ve varied within each category, and results have been consistently foul. I’ve also tried variations between categories, but with 5600 possible variations, I only tested around 50 combinations before concluding that the resin is the only constant, and that I’d rather be printing than cleaning up messes from failed printing attempts. The resin is back in the bottle, and I’m trying to decide the best way to dispose of this stuff. Regular resin is like honey - thick and sticky. This is like oil - runny and never quite clean. It's truly vile.
