How durable are these red snappers?

Very durable if used as directed

It comes with the red rods that are then joined by the wood pieces. Then there are the red outside clamping pieces. I’m not sure which rid you mean?

Yes, the red snappers are very easy to cut! I recently purchased a Handiquilter Amara and set up the studio frame at 6 feet to fit my smaller room I was able to cut the red snappers with a pair of scissors with no problems. I love them! I don't know why every quilt shop isn't using them. It would save them a ton of time.

I have a 10ft frame and float my tops so these red snappers work great! Not too long either so have no trouble clipping in place.

I have osteoarthritis so find it difficult to load quilts on my longarm machine. These make it so easy. Not cheap, but worth it for me.
