Perfect for the intended use.
Had it several weeks for gym use and running with Beats Studio+ or Open Run headphones and syncing using a high end 5G Android tablet. This thing is small, weights nothing and clips anywhere. Syncing with Spotify and connecting with the phones has been flawless. The Android app is clear and easy to use. No issues. I generally do not do reviews, but this is one product that is designed and performs as advertised. Since I prefer not to use a smartphone (using a flip phone on the go with a tablet around the house), the Mighty has proved perfect for working out. Simple and it works. There have been very infrequent (maybe twice so far) tracks that had 1-2 seconds of static, but it's uncertain whether that is a corrupted download, the bluetooth connection, or the Mighty. The only means of changing the exact play order on the unit is to change it in Spotify and resync. The Mighty can be switched to shuttle. Do I wish it had a longer battery life for traveling? Yes, but it is as advertised at 8 hrs and comfortably meets the gym or 5K duration. Also, it uses a small phono type plug/USB A dongle for recharging; I would prefer a USB C, B or a more easily replaceable non-proprietary interface. I generally do not do reviews, but this is one product that is designed and performs as advertised. Since I prefer not to use a smartphone (using a flip phone on the go with a tablet around the house), the Mighty has proved perfect for the gym and running. Simple and it works. UPDATE: I have found that with the Studio Beats the Mighty intermittently fails to automatically launch the next track which can be pain while on a treadmill. The Beats Studio Buds (an Apple product) required an Android app to pair with the Android 13 tablet that runs the Spotify and feeds my Mighty. Using the Trekz or using a plug-in headphone works absolutely without fail. The manufacturer should target this for a software fix.

Poor software and not user friendly
I purchased Mighty because I wanted a music player for Spotify separate from my phone. When I received my Mighty 3, I followed the instructions. I was required to install the Mighty app on my Android. The first red flag was the app had 2.2 stars of 5. I installed the app and had several issues with the configuration. I was finally able to sync my Spotify playlist (600 songs) with Mighty, which took over five hours. During the five hours, the sync stopped three different times. Ultimately, I was unable to sync all 600 songs due to the software bugs. I finally settled for 500 sync songs. I paired with my Bose Soundsport Headpones and tried to play music. Everything sounded like a drunk robot was playing the music. I reached out to their customer service and they sent me a replacement device. The replacement device did the same thing. I ended up purchasing a different wireless headphone. The new headphones played the music but after 10 seconds the unit stopped playing music. I finally gave up. All in all I spent around 5 hours on Mighty 3. Waste of my time. The software is very cheap and buggy. The company has a great product in theory but has not done adequate quality testing, hence why the app is rated 2.2 stars.

Belive the bad reviews (updated)
Its incresibly frustraiting to try to get this thing to work i synced playlists added bluetooth speaker and after that everytime i will press the play button nothing would actually play and kept disconnecting from the app on my phone and kept asking for me to plug in the mighty and connect kept going in circles never actually managed to get any sound out of my speaker or my headphones Updated. Its working perfect now im not sure if it was a glitch or an error on my part but i went back the next day and it worked perfectly i paired it with a sonos move and a jbl flip and both work perfect no issues with sound or connectivity or sound quality im not sure what the problem was but im glad it works. Works perfect with music and podcast no support for audio bokks yet

Great idea; poor execution.
I wanted an MP3 player for work, but could not use a phone or anything with recording capability and found this. I was excited about the Amazon music sync capability. When it arrived I got it set up (there is a known Android 14 issue, so be aware) and then the problems started. Overall, sync was slow and spent more time disconnected than connected and bluetooth audio would suddenly act like it was out of range even though it was on my belt. Every day seemed to bring a new problem - wouldn't turn on even though it showed fully charged, then the next day it wouldn't turn off and wouldn't play. The next day it dropped bluetooth connection to my headphones, then sync speed dropped to about 1-2 songs per hour. It has a single LED that uses color and flash rate to show status, and the unit often showed unknown modes (yellow and purple LED - neither listed as valid display modes). This is a great idea, but with a new problem every day, it makes me think their test plan wasn't as robust as it could have been. The unit did occasionally work, but there were as many days nonfunctional as functional so after about 10 days I returned it. Really great idea - shame it wouldn't work.

Awesome concept - shaky execution
I love the idea of this thing - reminds me of my old Ipod nano. My daughter was attending a camp for 2.5 weeks that doesn't permit screens, so this seemed like a good idea. Setup was a bit annoying. There's a glitch where you can't do the initial "out of the box" update it needs with android 14 - luckily we had an old android phone running ver12 laying around, so I installed the app on that, did the initial setup, and then my android 14 device connected fine. Syncing is slow - but that's not a huge deal - it did freeze a few times and I had to restart, but eventually got it all set up. The issue we ran into is that every 4-5 days, it wants to re-verify your account status with Spotify to make sure you still have the rights to be listening offline. I get the idea here - but you would think it would be smart enough pass some datapoint through the app to tell it when your monthly cycle ends and only have to check this once a month. So I had to physically drive up to the camp to do a re-sync on multiple occasions over the 2.5 week period. The first time took forever, and after some digging online I discovered that sync over a 5g network - you have to turn on your phone's wifi hotspot and connect through that. Seems odd, but OK. I just don't get why it has to be hyper vigilant about verifying with spotify. A couple of times a month would be sufficient. But every 5 days? That's overkill. I guess if you're never leaving home with it for more than 3-4 days at a time or have some way to access the app to resync if needed, this would be great...for runners, bikers, etc...even as a tool to give to kids for an extended break from devices...but not if they are going to be unable to access the app for more than 4-5 days. Probably not the best. I ended up dropping off a 2nd gen ipod as a backup. Makes you really appreciate the convenience of back in the day when you just tossed a discman and a cd wallet in your bag and you were done with it. If someone could modify this or come up with something that was smart enough to base the re-sync on the account refresh date - you'd be on to something.

It is Small YET, it is full of features!
A great option for those who want a portable, screen-free music player for workouts, kids, or distraction-free listening. While it has some limitations, its ability to play offline Spotify & Amazon Music, durable design, and Bluetooth compatibility make it a solid choice indeed. Setup Can Be Frustrating – Syncing playlists requires using the Mighty app and a Wi-Fi connection, which can be slow and sometimes unreliable. It took me multiple attempts to get everything transferred properly. Since there’s no screen, some users may find it difficult to navigate without a screen, especially for podcasts or audiobooks. Syncing Process Can Be Slow – Songs must be transferred via Wi-Fi through the Mighty app, which can take some time. It offers the ability to play tracks offline, it is lightweight, small and portable, which is great for any occasion. A gamer changer could be that a Spotify Premium or Amazon Music Subscription IS REQUIRED – No support for free-tier users, since I already have a subscription, this device delivers what I needed, I love all the features!

5 Star Device Once Setup
Had a software update issue with my phone not allowing the update to install. My pixel 5 running Android 14 had trouble. My other android phone Moto One had no trouble with the update. If the update doesn't install in 6 minutes you may need technical support. I contacted tech support about a Spotify expired message I was getting. They responded within a couple of hours with the solution The issue was caused by an interrupted sync. The solution was to have a 1 song playlist to quickly get the 30 day connect authorization from Spotify. I am a runner and am very happy with my purchase. Finally, I can leave my heavy phone. I considered getting a smart watch with Spotify, however, I think this solves my problem. I have been able to download plenty of music and it works great with my Bluetooth earbuds. There is a learning curve-now that I am past it I think it is a fabulous product and it is my understanding that the this new version has better boot up speed, song storage capacity and Bluetooth signal strength. I couldn't be happier. Update 03/24/2024: Continues to work great on my runs. Update 05/07/2024. Had a playlist issue it wouldn't download songs. I created a new profile on my family plan and shared my playlists from my old profile. Took care of my problem and worked perfectly ever since.

More development needed for primetime
This item does NOT work with Android 14 for firmware/software updates. You must use another phone, or send it back to them for a updated version. Also I had to create a WIFI hotspot because my WIFI runs on 5Ghz frequency, which is not posted anywhere until the problem comes up. Why not just send the updated versions out................. Just way to many issues for a $125 product. I would say this is worth about $30 I was excited to use this while working out. Two days into trying to get it to work properly I was able to finally load some songs. The loading of the songs takes too long. Also it won't work properly if you're uploading your playlist over 500 songs. So it recommends that you make playlists with less than 200 songs. Doesn't say any of this before buying the product. I just wanted one playlist with my "Liked songs" which is about 1800 songs right now. I was ready for my workout and quickly realized that the connection was terrible (yes it was fully charged), I put the Mighty in my back pocket on my workout shorts and was cutting out as I was running. I realized that I needed to have it clipped on my arm or my shirt neck for it to work correctly. Now I notice a lot of the advertising pictures it has it clipped above the waste. I thought this was just because they were showing the product off. But it's actually needed. It took me two days to work out the kinks, and support was amazing, they have to be with an item that has so many issues. I don't think you should buy this. If I didn't have an extra phone running Android 13 I would have to be jumping through hoops to use this. I consider this just another E waste product and a get rich product that doesn't deliver on it's plug n play out of the box. I can't imagine someone who does not know electronics/software trying to figure this out. I returned mine.
