iDPRT Thermal Label Printer, Bluetooth 4x6 Shipping Label Printer

We purchased the iDPRT 4x6 Bluetooth Thermal Label Printer in 2024, and it has been a great addition to our business setup. It has worked exactly as expected from day one. Setup was simple once I followed the directions (tip: download the “HereLabel” app for Bluetooth printing). I love that it connects via both Bluetooth and USB and works perfectly with my iPhone, iPad, and laptop. The prints are crisp and clear (203 DPI) and it’s super fast—prints a 4x6 label in seconds! It’s compatible with Amazon, Etsy, and Shopify, which makes shipping so much easier. I’ve used both roll and fan-fold labels with no issues. The compact size fits neatly on my desk, and I love not having to buy ink thanks to the thermal printing technology. I bought this thermal printer for shipping my products out for my small business and I’m very happy with it! Heres why: 1. Amazing price; When I purchased it was listed at $139.99 and I got a $30 off coupon bring my total down to $110.09 with tax included! I think thats the cheapest i’ve seen a thermal printer like this! 2. Bang for your buck; Now it probably doesn’t work like a rollo, though I’ve never had one to compare to.. this works amazinggggg. 10/10. I believe this is just an issue with some but mine was an unlucky one and my printer does print out the labels the TINEST bit faded but personally I don’t mind its nothing too serious unless this is a major issue to you, just be aware its a 50/50 chance of you getting one like this or not. Thats my only “issue” with this printer if that’s even an issue. Everything else works perfect and fast. No issues and easy to install. It works with any labels, any sizes. Its perfect if your looking to step up your small business a bit and become a little more professional. 3. Easy to install: Before you do anything you have to download the software to be able to connect your laptop to your thermal printer. Not gonna lie i was quite confused when I first got my printer. I decided when I ordered it to download the software before it got here because if you have a newer MacBook you’ll need to download it via their website not through the cd. After that you just connect everything up and it’ll work! Overall im so glad i spent the money on this. This was one of the best investments in my business so far! The reviewers are what drew me to purchase this. They made it sound amazing and IT IS! Usually you get bad feelings about stuff like this but I couldn’t pass up the chance. I bought this label printer for my small business about a year and a half ago. From day one, this thing had issues. First of all, the print quality is totally random. Sometimes it prints clearly, sometimes it is missing spots here and there. I've wasted a lot of labels, throwing out misprinted ones. But worse than this is that sometimes it only prints like 1/4 of the label and then just stops, mid-print, and there's nothing you can do other than continually open and shut the printer, and each time, it will print another 10-20% of the label. Do this over and over again until it finishes the label. Then, the next label MIGHT print out right, or you might have to repeat the process. Also, definitely don't think you can turn this on and immediately print. Every time I do that, it fails. If you leave it turned on and sitting for like 20 minutes or so, the chances of getting a few decent labels increases. Finally, when using labels on a roll, it cannot print them consecutively. You must stop and, with scissors, trim the previous label right up to the top of the next sticker, because if you leave that little bit of blank space, it thinks that is part of the label and the printout on the next label will be cut off. In summary, this printer is absolute trash and has caused me much frustration, wasted money on labels that had to be thrown out, and TONS of wasted time that could have been spent making more products for my shop instead of endlessly fighting with this printer. Every time I make a sale, instead of being excited, I sigh heavily knowing that now I have to go another round fighting with this terrible thing. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more and get a printer from a quality brand, and avoid this piece of garbage!

Great tool for making labels for small business! I ended up loving how easy the app adn printer are to use and the directions are easy to follow.

Excellent. Much more convenient and cost-effective than using stick-on half-sheet labels. Bluetooth can be a bit wonky, but it works—you may occasionally need to power cycle the printer to reconnect. I had a different Bluetooth issue previously, and iDPRT support was very helpful to work with. To make it even better, I designed a custom riser and a label holder for it that significantly reduce its footprint on my desk. I feel like I just ran an obstacle course with this thing, setting it up was exhausting and I almost returned this printer, let's discuss. First, I bought this for using with my 2015 MAC laptop and Shopify website, I generally use Safari as my main browser. Downloading the install driver from the idprt website was smooth, I was able to easily locate the printer in "Printers & Scanners" located in MAC "Systems Preferences". I changed my print settings on Shopify to match the correct print settings and paper size (4 x 6) recommended in the idprt manual. Quick tip: The thermal paper is loaded with the sticky label side facing up. When you load the paper in the back of the printer, first manually adjust the light blue plastic pieces that guide the paper, so they fit the size of paper/labels you're using, otherwise your paper feeds in crooked. Once setup was done I attempted to print a shipping label and... nothing happened, the print job was momentarily shown in the printer queue but immediately disappeared. I spent hours checking and rechecking settings troubleshooting, rebooting and still nothing. I rebooted my computer, disconnected and unplugged the printer multiple times, still couldn't get the two of them to communicate. I was so frustrated by this point, I was actually on Amazon already in the process of filling out the return request. When I realized "Wait! Maybe it's a bug. Let's see if any software updates are available." Indeed there was a new browser update available for Safari, I updated, reconnected the printer and everything suddenly worked. Long story longer, if this printer is hassling you, if you're experiencing installation or communication issues between your computer and printer, check to make sure your computer and browser software is 100% up to date. I'll never get those hours of struggle back but hopefully this will serve as a shortcut and save somebody else from unnecessary struggle. Anyway, this iDPRT SP410 printer now works brilliantly, the thermal printing looks great and I'm so grateful to have shipping labels that finally look professional.

After 2 years of use this printer is incredible! Been using for shipping labels and I can do everything right from my iPhone with this printer. Best purchase saving time and money!!!

I still have yet to print shipping labels without exporting to another device to crop, send back to my computer and then print so it fits the 4”x6” label format without having most of the image cropped off one side or the image shrunken to just occupy about 1/3 of my label. Mac OS drivers installed, convoluted Java installation instructions and tinkering with the Terminal window aren’t the basic “plug & play”installations a setup like this should be a breeze through. The unit is fast, compact, and otherwise seems to work as intended, but the manufacturer really should get this firmware streamlined like modern day software. Even their YouTube tutorials are vague, with illegible text instructions; their main instructional method is simply pointing at things.
