I did research, and the S9 was a big step up from the S8. I love the portability, how powerful it is and how good the screen is for drawing. I got a little Huion ramp for it so I wouldn't destroy my wrists. The S Pen, however, is not great. I accidentally pressed the side button so often I deactivated it in settings. It's very small, like a wooden school pencil. I added three rubber pencil grips around the outside to make it heavier and thicker, but eventually bought a Creator Edition S Pen for a better experience.

I bought the S9 Ultra 512 GB, 12 GB RAM, in excellent condition for $518.99. It arrived looking brand new with an S Pen and a charging cable. I bought and returned an S8 Ultra, 16 GB model initially, because the PC/Switch emulation wasn't quite there. S9 Ultra runs both very well! It's not perfect, but it's so good that I don't think about the small imperfections, and I can get lost in the game. My main gaming goals were Breath of the Wild and GTA V Lite. For work, I needed this tablet to function as a drawing tablet connected to my PC, and with my magic keyboard, to work as a laptop for easy tasks. It's not remotely close to a PC or a gaming laptop replacement, but for my level of gaming, work, PC drawing tablet needs, this is great. The amoled 14.6in screen is absolutely beautiful. My eyes have trouble with most laptops but this screen, it works so well for my 48yr old eyes. Overall, I think for the price point of $518.99, this is an incredible value. I haven't been this impressed by any purchase in sometime. I think this technology is truly a game-changer for the way I work and play.

Tablet was lost in transport and arrived almost a week later in a regular box with bubble wrap, no samsung or product box. It was completely dead and took over 10min just to charge to 2% and be able to turn on. Over and hour of charging it was at just 15%. I asked to return it and there is no option for a replacement, only a refund after they receive the defective one back and they decide how defective they really consider it. Plus to top it all off, I have to pay for the return! Not worth all this hassle.

Great tablet. Does everything I expected and more. The more I use it the better it gets

Having gone from Apple products, this tablet works with my phone, as it's also a Samsung. I've currently used this tablet for illustration work, and made back the cost of this tablet already! Although renewed, it works as if new, just don't expect the factory Samsung smell. The screen can scratch, but it can handle a soft pen use until you get a screen protector. The color and brightness is excellent for professional work! THIS IS A HEAVY GAL! Compared to Apple tablets, this tablet will feel like you're holding 3 Apple tablets in one. As a guy, I like the weight, as I've forgotten I've help Apple tablets while talking to someone, and dropped an Apple tablet.

The unit arrived extremely well packaged for shipping and appeared in new condition. However, the battery was totally dead. I charged it to 100% and ran through the setup process. Super easy to transfer wife's phone to the tab. This was to be a gift so I hid it for 3 or 4 days. When I pulled it out to finish setting it up, the battery was totally dead again. As with the first time, it took 15 minutes after plugging it in before the display showed 1% charge. So I charged it to 50%, did a factory reset, and returned it. It took about 2 days to reach the vendor and they immediately refunded my money. So high marks for the vendor for everything but the battery. But there's more. We bought all of our computers/phones/tabs refurbished and we've had no problems. This dead battery scared me because we could have just as easily received one with a half-dead battery and not known it. So I decided to buy a new tab. I could not find a new one on Amazon. They're all refurbished. I had to go to the Samsung store to get a new one. But when I was filling in my name, address and stuff, up pops a notice that they couldn't confirm I was not a robot and it said come back later. It said that even though I hadn't done anything like with Captcha. I was just entering my name and address and stuff. So I went to Walmart - all refurbished. I checked Best Buy. They had a new one but they were going to charge me $120 sales tax even though I live in Oregon where there is no sales tax. So, I finally tried NewEgg and they had it with no sales tax and now it is on its way here.

So fast delivery..downside is NO samsung BOX...its only ordinary box with bubble wrap..less secured..class A charger and cord..the pin is original.
