Strong Leap S3 UHD Receiver Google TV

Somewhat dubious about buying this but having read the reviews I'm glad I did buy it. Had buffering issues with the firestick and none of the fixes worked. This box is small, looks good, very responsive and has a great range of apps and the ability to sideload. There are no channel 4 or BBC iPlayer apps on the store so these have to be sideloaded but works seamlessly. Finally able to watch stuff without buffering again. Easy to set up and use with very intuitive UI. I like it so much, I've bought another for the bedroom.

If you want to side-load apps onto your firestick but find they keep being removed or blocked, this is the box for you. If your smart TV is kinda slow, the apps take a long time to load and moving around is choppy and annoying, this box will fix that problem for you. If your TV isn't smart at all and you want it to be, again this box can do that for you. It happily plays 4k HDR from You Tube or from files on a USB stick and is quick moving around the menu. I use mine to play music into an amp as well as use it as a smart TV box, very cheap and good, hope that helps you sailors out there.

Sometimes you get sick of companies ignoring feedback , and bloating it's devices out with adverts. I decided that it's time to move away from that ecosystem, and try something different, so far I am pretty impressed. Easy and quick to set up, (via your Google account), and customisable with the apps you want. It's nippy to navigate, compared with what I'm used to, content load in is quick. My only frustration at the moment, is the lack of play/pause, Rew and FFD buttons on the remote , because Apps like the F1TV app , content can't be paused as pressing the OK button brings up the different angles/feed option, and using the Left, right ,up ,down neglects to select the play icon, so can't be paused by pressing the OK, like in some other apps. I have ordered another one, (from a different source), and will probably switch to these until time comes to upgrade my TVs.

This is an excellent product and I gave it 4 Stars. However I have a difficulty. It is NOT easy to setup without a setup manual. It took me about an hour and instructions on the TV were confusing. I live in the UK and it DOES not add the BBC iPlayer AND Channel 4 Apps to the list presented. I had to side DOWNLOAD these Apps to add them using the DOWNLOADER app to achieve this purpose. Up and running both the Sound and 4K give very good results even on my Hisense Smart TV VIDAA TV system.

Hello, I would like to get money for this purchase because a few days ago it stopped working, i.e. the screen is not displayed I don't have any apps on this box because I am writing on my TV no connection with reception A colleague recommended you, he said that these TV Boxes are indestructible That's why I bought this tv box from you and please stop working, not even a year has passed Full I bought this product in September 2025 so please help and get my money back so that I could buy another tv box because from what my friend told me that I can apply for a refund up to a year and we know perfectly well that this TV box is no longer on sale Thank you for considering my website so that I can get money for another TV box

Very happy with the device, well packaged, good quality and performance seems to be much better than the Firestick v2 it replaced. No sign of performance or stuttering playback issues.

Ritengo che questo STRONG LEAP-S3 ANDROID BOX GOOGLE TV 4K ULTRA HD sia davvero un piccolo gioiello di tecnologia ne ho avuti tantissimi ma mai così performante ultra veloce e affidabile calcolando che l ho davvero testato stressandolo molto..nessun surriscaldamento sempre tiepido sul freddo dopo ore e ore che ormai non conto più..il sistema operativo è google tv non android tv..molto più performante e tecnico con sistema operativo sempre si android ma tutto il contorno è le impaginazioni sono google tv e per chi non lo sapesse col tempo sostituirà del tutto android tv..detto questo potrebbe a primo impatto spiazzare un po perché è un sistema tutto in movimento tra applicazioni avvisi e finestre varie..questo intendo per impaginazione..android tv è statico e quindi fermo sulla home con le app installate questo no..al contrario delle cinesate tutte le app di streaming si possono installare..inutile fare il lungo elenco il telecomando è perfetto e si può persino settare sul televisore per averne uno solo..nelle app è perfetto e non serve una tastiera esterna per muoversi come in molti altri compresi le cinesate..non si aggiorna per il momento alle nuove versioni di android ma si aggiorna per ricevere patch di sicurezza..la cosa fantastica è che si può espandere la memoria per ampliarla in caso finisse installando le app appunto sulla memoria esterna come una chiavetta per esempio..in tal caso non dovrà essere tolta dato che li poi risiederanno poi le app..e tantissime alte cose tutte da scoprire troppo lunghe da spiegare..ci sono ovviamente anche le note dolenti come in tutte queste cose tecnologiche..il play store risulta meno fornito dello stesso play store di android tv..bisogna avere fortuna in base a quello che si sta cercando mi riferisco alle app..e anche se si installa da file apk uno store alternativo se si trova l app che il play store non aveva non sempre si riesce a installare dando incompatibilità..le ragioni credo di averle capite a questo sistema operativo non piace molto il fai da te ma si basa tendenzialmente al suo store e basta tanto e vero che installazioni non ottenute sul play store ma da altri store alternativi o da apk non te li visualizza nella home insieme alle app installate e certificate ma bisogna andare a cercarle in impostazioni app e aprile da lì..queste per il momento sono le note negative in compenso per mia opinione personale tra prove estetica e tutto quanto preferisco lo stesso google tv che android tv che come detto col tempo sarà comunque sostituito..spero di aver fatto cosa gradita con questa dettagliata recensione

J’utilise ce TV Box Strong depuis quelque temps et j’en suis très satisfait. Il est rapide, stable et parfaitement fluide à l’usage. L’interface Google TV basée sur Android est un vrai plus : elle est intuitive et permet d’installer facilement toutes les applications Android disponibles sur le Play Store. La navigation est réactive et sans ralentissements. La qualité d’image est excellente, aussi bien pour le streaming que pour les applications multimédias. Au vu des performances et des fonctionnalités proposées, c’est clairement un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Ik heb mijn inmiddels mijn 15 jaar oude televisies van Samsung en LG volledig bij de tijd gebracht met 2 van deze Strong Leap Google TV boxen. Deze Google tv box is verrassend snel en laat zich eenvoudig installeren. Mijn KPN tv boxen heb ik ingeleverd die onlangs 20% in huurprijs waren verhoogd wat mij motiveerde om hier afscheid van te nemen. De KPN tv+ app wordt geïnstalleerd vanuit de App store, Prime en Netflix zijn als app al aanwezig waarmee het geheel compleet is. Het beeld en geluid zijn uitstekend en de TV en soundbar (Teufel) laten zich met de afstandsbediening aan en uit schakelen via de CEC optie (consumer electronic controll) wat via de scart kabel geregeld wordt. Beide Leap apparaten zijn met een vast ethernet kabel verbonden. Al met al een goede keuze die ik dus aanbeveel.

Lo cambié porque notaba mi antiguo Xiaomi Smart S gen 1 algo lento y porque quería mejorar la velocidad a través del puerto ethernet. Estoy sorprendido porque el funcionamiento es muy fluido, carga las aplicaciones en tiempos muy cortos y al moverse por los menús va fluido, mejor que el anterior y más barato. Además amplia a 16gb el almacenamiento, el doble que el Xiaomi. Es una marca consolidada desde hace muchos años en el sector de la imagen y es de garantías. Los acabados son muy buenos, la caja está diseñada con buen gusto y el mando es pequeño y funciona correctamente, incluye pilas, cable HDMI y alimentador. También tiene USB y entrada óptica de audio. Por 45 euros no creo que compres nada similar. He comprado otro para la otra televisión, no necesito probar ninguno más, si tienen buena duración en el tiempo seguiré comprando esta marca.

Väldigt bra box som jag kört med ett tag nu. Mycket minne och funktioner och 4k fungerar utmärkt. Denna box rekommenderar jag verkligen mycket bättre än funktionen som finns inbyggt i smart tv.
