Expensive quality goods should work
As like one of the other reviewers i bought it a the beginning of the year and didnt open it till november when my new laptop arrived, set everything up plugged in the new hard dive whizz of the fan and flashing light then nothing and not recognised by my laptop either not impressed

RAID 1 failed after 6 days
At this price for a device marketed to professionals it's disappointing that it failed in less than a week. Based on led behaviour it tries to rebuild RAID 1 without luck, doesn't seem like drives are dead, so it must be the controller issue.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto dopo essermi documentato per poter eseguire backup raid del mio mac e di un ssd esterno in contemporanea, il prodotto si presenta solido e completo per ogni possibile utilizzo, può fungere da alimentatore per un Mac tramite la porta Thunderbolt o essere collegato direttamente a uno schermo Apple display e lavorare solo in trasferimento dati. Ottima la possibilità di espansione tramite ssd proprietari sandisk. La velocità di trasferimento elevata il rumore dopo l’avvio appena udibile nonostante i dischi a 10000rpm, lo tengo sotto la scrivania dello studio (una stanza molto silenziosa) e ogni vibrazione o rumore eccessivo sarebbe sicuramente udibile. In questo caso invece risulta tutto nella norma. Attualmente. Sono pienamente soddisfatto dell’acquisto e dell’affidabilità del prodotto

Ultra content de ce raid !
Photographe et vidéaste professionnel, j’avais besoin d’une solution de stockage performante, silencieuse et surtout fiable. Ce G-RAID de chez SanDisk coche toutes les cases : deux disques internes configurables en RAID 1 pour la sécurité ou RAID 0 pour la vitesse, boîtier robuste en métal, double connectique USB-C et Thunderbolt, compatibilité parfaite avec macOS (même APFS). Je l’utilise en RAID 1 pour sécuriser mes archives clients : les données sont automatiquement dupliquées sur les deux disques, donc zéro stress en cas de panne. La configuration est simple avec l’outil SanDisk, et une fois monté, je peux même créer un lien symbolique pour y accéder directement depuis mon bureau (gain de temps énorme). Silencieux, ultra rapide, et très bien ventilé même en usage intensif — c’est clairement du matériel pro. Je recommande à tous les créateurs, vidéastes, monteurs ou photographes exigeants. Ce n’est pas un simple disque dur, c’est un investissement dans la tranquillité.

Desencantado con el servicio técnico
DespuĂ©s de 22 meses empezĂł a dar problemas y me salĂa una luz roja y dejĂł de funcionar el RAID 1 hasta el punto que perdĂ los datos , me puse en contacto con el vendedor y me dijeron que todo estaba bien y que lo habĂan restaurado de fábrica, me quedĂ© de piedra con esta contestaciĂłn y muy frustrado pues no entiendo porque no me lo reemplazaba por otro nuevo, no querĂa volver a perder informaciĂłn, me pongo en contacto con Amazon y me contestan que se pondrán en contacto con el vendedor y este me comenta que lo llevan a revisar a Lacer y yo no tengo otra manera de guardar mis documentos y fotos, asĂ que he tenido que comprarme un disco duro nuevo, es frustrante como funciona estos vendedores solo espero que Amazon me dĂ© una soluciĂłn satisfactoria.
