They make wire nuts so much easier and safer!
If you are planning on doing a wiring project you need to have these in your kit. I first heard about these from Sparky Channel on YouTube and bought some to try them. I used them to wire outlets and lighting in the basement of my old apartment and when I rewired my entire garage outbuilding at my new house. I have used these extensively in place of wire nuts and will choose them every time. For working in shallow boxes, they are fantastic, for upgrading old-work, they rock. The fact they are reusable is just a perk. When managing a large number of wires in a box, using them beats trying to twist a big blob of wires together with linemans pliers inside of a small box. I have not had any issues with reliability and I have gone through several hundred of them. I cannot say enough good things about these, if you are looking for an easier, safer, and more versatile alternative to wire nuts to make your wiring projects easier... buy these. Also - I liked them so much I picked up a multi-pack kit of them for my Dad for Fathers Day 2018, this was the picture he sent me when he received them...

Super easy to work with and safe
I used this when I was adding puck lights in my camper van. They are super easy to work with and safe. In the future, if I need to make changes, add lights, etc, this is a great system to have!

Simple, reliable, very quick to use - worth the expense
These are more expensive than using wire nuts, but they save a lot of time. I wired a whole house in the Philippines using only WAGOs. If you keep an eye on the proper depth of wire insertion as you use each Wago lever nut, you will never have a loose connection or a wire that pulls out. It is easy to change or modify the wiring for a room or a section of the house without damaging the wires. These come from Germany, my home country where almost every house and apartment has been wired that way for decades.

Works great and easy to use.
Had never used something like this before. Works fantastic ! Used them for all my 12v connections in building out my van for camping. Easy to use. Holds very well. Canโt pull wires out. Will definitely use again for other 12v wiring projects.

Easily removable
I just started using this type connector. Before, I had always used wire nuts. Compared to wire nuts, these are a joy to work with. If I get ahead of myself and make a connection prematurely, it's extremely easy to just open the connector, and start over. Plus, with heavier gage wires (like 12 gauge), I'd have to get out some kind of tool to twist the nut tight enough. No such difficulty with Wago lever nuts. One extremely handy use I discovered was that I can use these connectors to hook my volt meter lead to a wire, without having to look through my tool box for a clamp or vice grips. I occasionally need to hook my meter to a wire at a switch, then diagnose at the appliance (like a ceiling light), which of the wires in the junction box is the switched wire. Previously I would try to clip my meter's lead to the wire using alligator clips (too weak -- usually just came apart), or vice grips (too strong and too heavy -- would bend my meter's lead). With these, I can snap them together in a second, then unsnap them when I have my answer.

Great alternative to wire nuts!
I discovered wagos, when another technician was using them on a lighting ballast. The flexibility of using a wago instead of a wire nut is awesome. There are some concerns I've heard from field techs about longevity of these but I personally have now used a few hundred of them and have had no issues. making sure the wire is stripped back appropriately is the biggest thing. But the connector holds tight and works well. It's also very useful for troubleshooting purposes when you are jumping out different components. You can use the wago and connect easily without as much fear of shorting out a circuit. Overall Wagos are a must have in my electrical work bag

Seeing is believing - Far better than wire nuts or push in. Way to go Wago...
I did not take any pictures from all of the outlets and light fixtures I replaced this past week. I should have - A 'professional' licensed electrician wired my home. It passed a county inspection (new construction, less than 6 years old) and 'should' have no problems. I had a couple of outlets that were not always working so I began there. Sure, push in may be to code, but only if you push the striped wire completely. I found one outlet where I was able to pull a neutral right out of the rated NEMA 5-15 outlet. The stripped wire was barely a 1/4" long. Clearly this was the issue with this one outlet. I have since been replacing outlets one at a time with shepherd hook clockwise wire connections on the outlet terminating in Wago lever nuts. During this time I have found wiring where wire 'to code' (right) was twisted and in wire nuts, but upon removal of the nut, it was clear the wire had not been twisted and contact was barely there. Code is two complete twists, and the wire(s) should be secure - not able to be tugged out. I found too many that could be pulled, especially with stranded joined to solid (fixtures). Well, these Wago wire nuts aren't exactly cheap, but at $.50 or so, the minimal cost per outlet/fixture is worth the knowledge 1) you can SEE someone else has properly connected their wire. 2) you can remove the wire to replace a fixture, no need to cut wire (and same for a S. hook) and look for the mysterious 'wire stretcher' we all wish were real... I digress. Anyway, the Wago lever nuts are all I will use now, especially after following the work of a 'licensed' professional that was 'inspected'. I will add that I am a retired firefighter with over 20 years of finding nice examples of terrible electrical work that has led to far too many close calls. I am not a licensed electrician, but I do know what can result from poor electrical contact... and at least these let you see that the wires are fully inserted and clamped. Sometimes saving a few cents costs a lot more in ways you were never expecting.
