Is the heel height actually 4 “ or is it higher?

Not more than 4 in. Platform makes them comfortable.

Do they fit wide feet?

I'm not certain. My daughter's feet are not wide, so I can't really say. They may offer them in a wide width, but I can't attest to that either because that's not what I was shopping for. Sorry! You may be able to find out on the Steve Madden website.

What’s the length of the heel?

I believe 3 1/2 almost 4 in., but doesn't feel tall because of the platform. It's still winter where I am so I haven't worn them since last year. One of my favorites, very comfortable. I can wear them all day.
