Pen Flashlight, 5 PCS Led Pen Light Flashlights with Clip

I bought these lights due to their size and brightness. I am really pleased with these little lights. I am an electrician and am always looking for good cheap lighting. When ever I go to a house the nights never seam to come on until I am ready to leave, SHOCKING! (Sorry for the electrician joke.) These lights are very bright and the size is perfect to clip onto your hat. They take AAA batteries so you can replace the batteries for cheep or use rechargeable batteries like I do. They are relatively bright. My guess from past experience with more expensive lights is that they are putting out around 200 lumans. A little less than advertised but still pretty powerful. There is one down side to these little lights after about 2 hours of use they over heat and shut down. At first I thought it drained the battery in 2 hours of use, but when I went to change the battery at the end of the day I flicked it on and it was as bright as ever. Over all I have recommended these little lights to several friends and co-workers. So fare I have heard no complaints. And with the price you can drop it down a wall or drop it in the attic insulation and not want to cry. I can get 10 of these for the price I paid for other brands. So I give it a 5 star rating for price, size, and output.

5 lights for $20 seemed too good so I wasn't expecting much. Point of fact, these ARE good. Really good. No issues with build quality. The switches on all five work great, the pocket clip is robust metal that won't break and the light is REALLY BRIGHT. Puts my old name-brand LED pen light to shame. I keep one in my pocket at all times at work in an auto repair shop and it gets the job done better than any other pen light I have tried. And if I lose or break one, I still have 4 spares. Helluva deal.

Ordered a 10 pack. One would not come on, but worked after a quick cleaning of the "bulb" end. Ordered a second set for a friend. Of the first set, one failed after about 30-45 seconds of use, and could not be revived. Problem was in the emitter, not the switch. Of the second set, one was DOA, never turned on once. Again problem was in the emitter. So, two duds out of 20, not all that bad for the price. They are very bright compared to any regular penlight, and will exceed some full size lights. I did not rate either battery life or durability, as I have not had them long enough to rate either.

I have a bit of a problem buying too many flashlights. I lose them constantly and for some reason feel like I need have enough light to cover a stadium. that said. these are great for the money I purchased the 2 pack to try them when I couldn't find my Streamlight. obviously these are not the same quality but you can buy a 10 pack for the same price (Which i later did for gifts) all of them work and have great light output for the cost. i have a few more expensive lights of similar size that have nowhere near the output. that said it is not 500 lumen. Amazon lets people put whatever they want for the output and 500 lumen would be ridiculous to expect from a light fed off of 2 AAA batteries. The true output is probably around 100 lumens which is great for a little light like this and it is about the same as my Streamlight and much brighter than my Milwaukee . The battery life is not great but that is to be expected with cheaper LEDs and a bright output. for the price these are great if you know what to expect and I recommend these if you are someone like me that looses and breaks things frequently.

Some work well from the start, and some you have to shake to get it to light up. Bad connection somewhere. For the price they are pretty good.

These little flashlights are work horses. There are many brands out there. They all use the same flashlight. The strange clip is obvious in the picture. That is how I know I'm getting the right one. I have 6-7 of these around the house, car, garage. They always work and they are bright! Takes 2 AA batteries that last quite a while. I do recommend.

These pen flashlights are fantastic! They’re small and compact, making them super convenient to keep in random places like my purse, car, toolbox, kitchen, or nightstand. Nice size, but does not give off a lot of light. Great for a purse or in your car for emergencies.

Great cheap penlight works well to see in tight spots.

Works absolutely awesome. The price is great too. Won't loose too much if it goes lost. Just grab another one. Pretty good tough too. Has twice fallen from at least 20 feet onto concrete and didn't break.

The bad first. It eats batteries so fast. Get lithium rechargeables. It also gets quite hot with prolonged (10 minutes+) use. Now the good! It’s very bright, incredibly cheap, and would make an excellent automotive inspection light for your coverall pockets.

Pretty Bright a decent little lights for how Bright they are.

They are bright for the size. Batteries last 48 to 60 minutes. They are not waterproof, the front lens just sits in the retaining ring with no seal. Only 4 out of 5 worked when received. They are find for convenience applications but I would not trust them for emergencies.
