Might be good, if I can figure out how to use it.
Instructions are pretty much non-existent, and the few video tutorials I've watched only go over the basic functions that the included pamphlet covers, such as how to charge it, what button to click to scan things, how to dim the screen, etc. Nothing really explains how to use it as an inventory scanner, which is kinda what I bought it for in the first place. After messing around with it for a few hours, I haven't figured out how to do anything other than enter barcodes into the system. Maybe someone with better skills than I will be able to figure this out and write some instructions.

Inventory specific scanner
This 1D laser barcode scanner is specifically designed for inventory use but can be used as a simple scanner as well. Although this version of the scanner can't read 2D barcodes, the laser allows you aim a little bit easier, especially when there are many barcodes in the same area. I am able to read a 1 inch barcode at about 6 inches away and a 2 inch barcode at about 16 inches away. I like that you can also manually enter damaged barcodes, or add other information related to the scan such as quantities with this scanner. In addition to basic scanning, this scanner can also be operated in a batch collection mode that they call collect, as well as an accumulation mode that they call inventory. With the latter two modes, you would collect all the barcodes at once and then later export them to your own application. In regular scan mode, the barcodes get sent directly to your application via the included 2.4GHz USB receiver or through a wired USB-C connection. If you are out of range or not directly connected, any scanned barcodes that were not previously sent will automatically be flushed out of the scanner buffer once it sees a connection again. Unlike previous versions of this model that needed AA batteries, this new version has a built-in rechargeable battery. Overall, as long as you understand the limitations and capabilities of this scanner, it's a decent scanner for the price.

Reads barcodes well, organizes and records
This barcode scanner is pretty straight forward in that it scans barcodes, and if you are doing inventory, it works great to catalog your ISBN's or UPC codes into a database. The menu on the scanner itself seems a bit archaic by modern standards, where you have to use arrows to select the prompt and then go to text menus to get to where you want to go. So navigation could be more thought out, as well as the buttons which are not exactly clear on their functions either. The instruction booklet is minimal so a lot of it is trial and error. This barcode scanner only does 1D, which is the usual barcodes you see on products, where 2D is QR-codes and such. While I think the scanner works well and as it is intended, I also think it's limited in its functions.

Simple to use
This scanner feels good quality in my hand. Not too flimsy. Perfect size to use, and not too bulky. It's a pretty easy user friendly scanner, perfect for using to inventory for my small business. It comes with a USB to pair it with, just plugging it into your computer will get you going.

Great scanner but ONLY for 1D barcodes
This scanner isn't bad. It is simple to set up and operate, though it would benefit from better instructions in the box. With that said, it did everything I needed it to do and the build quality seems good. It supports multiple modes (batch scan, etc...) and does offer wireless capabilities which is really a must in today's age. Just be aware that it only supports 1D barcode scans and you won't be disappointed in what you get.
